If he were to compile all his writings into a gargantuan tome, it would be the most difficult tome ever written, and I bet you, philosophy, psychology, psychiatry, literary scholars would struggle to make head or tale of his writings. Francis is infatuated with characters in many books that he has read but which you and me know nothing about yet he assumes we are all on the same page with him as regards his beloved characterisations of the Scholar, the Scarab Beetle, the Brethren, the Country, ad nausea. Hey, if I were being lectured by Francis, I would wonder what equations he would set for me in an English Literature class! Francis hides a message in this morass and labyrinth of his abstruse and esoteric writings, sometimes telling us about the great deeds of Osagyefo Kantamanto Kwame Nkrumah, contrasting the current ineptitude in our clueless body polity and lamenting the dismal levels of our retrogression. He lampoons Kwame Ahoofe and the wannabes, as well as share his historical, scientific, editorial and political seances with us. I am sure sometimes he falls into periods of reverie and hallucination, whereby he meets the spirits of revolutionaries of the likes of Che Guevera, Ras Makonnen, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, George Padmore, Rosa Parks, Black Panthers, NAACP, Du Bois, among others. Francis seems to have a pantheon of all known writers of repute, and his repertoire has no end. Francis Kwarteng seems to be smoking something which sends him into spasms of arcane writing, whereby he gains insight into things you and me have no iota or infinitesimal knowledge about. I recommend Francis to be conferred with an honorary doctorate in the class of journalistic obscurantism and literary obfuscation. Well done Francis for filling space and giving us some food for thought, even though we mostly fail to understand, you give us mental calisthenics, acrobatics and gymnastics to unfathom your thoughts, plumb the depths of your eccentric seminal ideas and strengthen our resolve to occupy ourselves profitably with reading your arcane treatises, perhaps akin to what Kissi Dompreh, Anthony Kwame Appiah, Kofi Asare Poku, and other greats would have written. Well done and more of those mega vibes.
