For your information, Bokor excelled at the UCC with second-class honours (Upper Division) and entered graduate school in the US without any influence from anywhere, let alone the Scholarship Secretariat. Will you go and find out from the English Department, UCC, or the Scholarship Secretariat?
Remember that getting 2nd class Upper Division at that time when the GPA had been raised and caused several demonstrations by dissenting students and the closure of the UCC, only those who knew how to make it did so. Bokor was one of them. Go to the English Department at the UCC to see the records and be informed!!

No wonder scholars (Black, White, Asian) at the institutions they attended in Europe IGNORE them to wallow in their obscurity only to turn around and write extensively about Kwame Nkrumah, his unparalled legacy, his ideas.
Understandably, Nkrumah is more popular with scholars at the University of London (Danquah's alma mater) and Oxford (Busia's alma mater). What a sad, strange irony!
It is a shame Danquah and Busia do not appeal to international scholars, historians, philosphers, and scientists.
