Kudos on your insightful piece.I would hope the honourable Prof was just joking. On the other hand reading his comments showed he was serious about what he said. Sadly it illustrates the dichotomous mind of the Ghanaian "intelligentia"----the "Ghana portion" and the "learning memory" portion.
The former leads to simplistic thin concept arguments like the morgue baptism commentary, which lacks any deep thought; and the latter earns them degrees in college/universities. What a sad state of affairs.

A very nice and indepth piece. It is a must read by everybody. Sometimes, I´m ashamed when people, the caliber of prof. Akosa, lose their minds and spit shit because of politics. Can´t we for a moment differentiate issues of national priority from partisan politics? I wonder what kind of democracy we are practising in this country. Would there ever be anything worth emulating by the youth from such charaters? It is as if some of them have other places where they can call a country, and damm the rest of us, even if Ghana is completely destroyed. The word corruption, has completely lost its value. Sorry mother Ghana.

Prof is right. That will be a good remedy for the ghana economy.
The first person should be the President and all the wives of his ministers.

Good piece,
Like most of his CPP colleagues, anytime Akosa opens his mouth, he talks rubbish. He is part of the stanch of the Ghana Health Services. He served as Director-General too? He is also part of the group that will take money from relatives and spare them the ordeal of "butchering" their relatives or give bogus reports for murder cases.
Just a big joke of a politician, the all the rest! That is the reason why the CPP in particular, will never win an election in Ghana!
