Alan is almost 60 years old. if Mahama wins again, Alan will be 64 to contest the election which NPP would win anyway; by then Ghanaian will be fed up with NDC no matter what and ready for change which would be good for Alan. But if Akufo Addo wins, Allan has to wait 8years to contest again then party would not win the election again anyway, and Allan would be old and face other aspirants. So what would be there for Alan if he allows Nana to contest?

In the run-up to NPP's delegates' conference, NDC observers were happy said that the internal wranglings in the NPP was going to mar the programme. They were shamed. In fact, it goes down in history as one of the most peaceful, well-organized delegates' conferences held in this country, amidst the fragmentations that existed. Wounds have healed, new faces have come up. The party has sprung back to its feet. Asiedu Nketia, the notorious NDC General Secretary, conceded that the NDC has cause to worry, because the new executives pose a threat to the NDC. Nana's camp is playing it cool, while Alan and his pig-headed followers are on a war path. The noises will soon go to roost after the delegates kick Alan out. What happened when Konadu decided to challenge Prof Mills? In the end, it was "cool chop" for Prof. That is what is going to happen. Alan has lost twice to Nana. He'll taste it again. Then it will be the turn of Mahama, the most incompetent, useless president Ghana has ever had.

Allan selfishly refused to go on campaign trail with Nana simply because he got peeved about the thrashing given him by Nana and mark you,even at a point in time for no wrong done to him except for his defeat, he decided to resign from the party. Does Allan think all these happened at the blind side of all who genuinely wish NPP well as a party? In the unlikely event of he winning the NPP flagbeareship, what would he expect supporters of Nana to do to him? I do not think Allan does not know the obvious but he is simply doing what he is doing inorder that NPP looses 2016 knowing very well that his perceived enemy would not be around in 2020. If that is his thinking, he should better forget ever becoming a flagbearer of the NPP let alone becoming a President of Ghana.Afterall, what is Allan's track record in Ghanaian politics? Has he so soon forgotten about how he disappointed his patron Kuffour when he could not manage a simple but rewarding project to Ghana christened PSI into cassava production? I don't for the life of me understand why any rational human being in this 21st century Ghana, will see nothing wrong when Alan's camp relentlessly rain insults, vitriolic in nature, on Akufo-Addo, without any provocations, but will see everything wrong with a rebuttal of equal dimension from Nana's camp or concerned citizens like Okoampa? The difference is that Okoampa does it better. Unlike the others who peddle in lies and untruths, Okoampa paints the true picture on the ground. What has he said in this article about Alan that the delegates are not privy of? Alan is selfish, egoistic, opprtunistic and a mitigant. Where in the freedoms and liberties that emanates from democratic principles would you find, apart from age restrictions and moral standing, oh English professor Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, it reasoned that Alan Kyerematen wait in line/queue his turn to seek the post of flag bearer of a party in Ghana?
