This masterpiece of an article will surely keep many a news presenter on their toes. More often than not, most of these errors are not deliberate, but as a result of failure to crosscheck one's presentation. I strongly admire your dedication towards ensuring that media houses, cross-check what they put before us for reading. More power to your elbow.

Good work but you wrote "mispelled" which is American. Ghana uses British English and the British use "mispelt".
American and British spellings are not mixed in any examination.

We speak and write modern English! Read Facebook and twitter English and see things for yourself. But who cares? We care for the message and the technology these days not Chaucer or Shakespeare! Thanks!

'good job. you hot the nail right on the head.'
Is 'hot' the new past tense of 'hit'? Some linguistics major ought to get on this!

Is it so bad for you to do a comprehensive write-up on the major differences between American and British English? As for some of our radio stations, the least talk about them the better.
Good Job.

Thanks, Idris. I believe you are a good teacher because you pay attention to details. In most corporate America, it's a requirement for employment these days-attention to details. However, you don't have to worry about these little spellings so much in the 21st century Tech world because, as you are aware, American English is completely different. And they have taken over completely in books and literature, etc. what about meter, center, neighbor, wanna, gonna, traveling,. What about trash can? And that's how Americans call it. I have never heard that "skip" you talked about. That's Shakespeare's English which is never spoken these days. If the spelling changes the meaning, then that's unacceptable! If not, fine because TV3 is not giving a speech before the queen of England! Let's think technology, not grammar! Come on, Africa! Thanks!

The writer mentions not American English. Ghana is a Commonwealth nation. We examined in British English. So long as the spellings are wrong, they are wrong. The news editor is shamed.

It is not only the Queen of England that deserves correct spellings. The right thing must be done. Whether British or American spelling, it must be correctly done. You cannot hide behind technology.

you should have draw the station notice to the errors than going public. and you should rather correct yourself by saying as you view and listen.
