The advice of Capt. Effah Darteh is very apt and needs to be seriously considered, in the face of such provocation and inaction on the part of the security agents, to protect the lives of all Ghanaians and not just a section of the citizenry. The perpetrators need to be fished out, brought to the courts to face the law, and this should be pursued vigorously to the letter, by the organs of state tasked with protecting all Ghanaians. This is a matter that needs to be tackled and tackled strongly within the arm bit of the laws of Ghana. Failure on the part of the organs of state to address these acts of impunity and lawlessness, other unorthodox measures would need to be employed to provide the badly needed checks and balances, since, the confidence in the apparatus of state, would have been badly damaged.
