I really enjoyed the blame game part. African leaders need to wake up and do for the people what is required of them!
We all have to do our part. Simple. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend.

A disgrace, write sensibly not making a long meaningless poem about Lusaka. You must be bored and just obsess with writing.

l like the circle-circus of blame game in the poem
. it clearly shows how we have failed as a nation and a continent. The sounds and imagery evoked in this poem reminds me of John Pepper Clark's " Night Rain." Keep it up.

Ogyani come home and rest. It seems you are boored in Lusaka. You don't make sense at all.
Tell King Cobra to pay your arrears and come home.
But Lusaka is nice than Accra that's why you still live there.

If you can write all these on just one rainfall then you will write a whole encyclopaedia on a tornado or hurricane!

It is refereshing to find such a beautiful poem to read over the weekend. The manner in which you personified the rain throughout kept the poem active and interesting. Keep it up.
