Being overly serious does not fill our creativity vacuum. Our type of education does not prepare us to be our own boss,we were taught to serve. We all left school only to become employees not employers, knowledge that can transform our lives and positively affect the community was not taught. We are educated to be selfish and single minded,we do not pick brains or compromise.Team work is not encouraged, lack of team work is affecting every part of the nation. As a nation,we need to be more creative, people must be prepared to acquire more knowledge than money. We live in filth, eat in filth, sleep in filth and yet brag about our PhDs,it does not make any sense.Creative minds will make us free, healthy, prosperous and a happy country,we will live longer. The bottom line is education reform, where teachers are able to pick our future leaders at their early stages and groom them to put Ghana in the right position in the world.People with the knowledge and the ability to fix our water, sanitation, job creation and corruption problems.

There are villages all over the world but the African village is the most poorly built, lack of creativity. It is not the lack of resources,we have heaps of minerals and food yet we starve and have no jobs.We expect too much from the government, food rot in the farms and also in the markets because we lack the knowledge to preserve and market them.Ginger in our markets are as soiled as it came,it is not washed,no value is added to it.We do not know how to market our products,we have all become retailers of other nations products and we seem to wearing that badge with great honor.

The classic definition of a fool is described one incapable of learning from past mistakes and or learning from the mistakes of others. I do believe we laugh in order not to cry but we do so knowing we have been fools or fooled. It is one thing to blame the political and intellectual elite for being evil but what we cannot do is blame them for winning elections even as white collar criminals masquerading as members of parliament and or directors of government entities. We realize our folly each day because we are given the powers each election cycle and we fail to use that power wisely and judiciously. Once we know we have been had we have no choice but to laugh at our folly brought on by tribal and political party loyalties.
