Humanism has always been taught in our classrooms through the introduction of Literary works and Scientific materials written by humanists. On the other hand,we Africans have been reasoning long before the introduction of schools, and we have reasoned that the universe was created by someone who has continued to sustain us. This is quite different from going to some preacher who is promising materialist conquests through our own efforts.

Religious people can be freethinking and sceptical.
The assumption that only people who reject faith or doubt God can be sceptical makes the whole article bogus.
