I once heard him on the campaign trail in 1969. He spoke good English with good diction (for a Ghanaian) but the man really didn't know how to wow the crowd. Dr Aidoo, is a discourse analyst, descends heavily where necessary with his adept critical analysis of issues.
His competence, abilities, intelligence are star kingly clear for all to see.
That is why, people like some of us are worried he has to leave for The Netherlands.
Its a pity, a few illogical individuals have, all of a sudden, de-scaled of their academics, muddied themselves up and cloaked up in partisan colors just to gain some recognition? Of what benefit is that? How does Ghana benefit from that?

I studied him extensively. He was an academic. He was respected by many across the world. I believe he would have impacted academia much better if he did not veer into politics.
Nevertheless, he did his part for his country!
