The starting point is our "stupid 1992 constitution" which is a complete carbon copy of the US Constitution.Every fabric of our own laws and institutions were put on the scrap heap. The "BIG STINK" starts from the very top.

Well, I don't think you know "Valentine" Mudimbe, "George." There was actually a book published by a white man called "The Invention of Europe" from which the Sorbonne-schooled Prof. Mudimbe took his titular cue. I have met both the man and his wife at conferences. Years ago, he was even invited by Temple University to present a lecture.
You see, you cannot seriously credit any scholar for being pathologically caught up in the same phenomenon that you are rabidly condemning.
In fact, I have had occasion to question the scholarship of Prof. Mudimbe - a gallery-playing scholarly entertainer, to be certain; I have also "stampeded," another genius Francophone pretender, Prof. Hountoundji, or some such name, from Benin Republic, who came to me waxing apologetic after his distinguished-scholar's presentation in Boston. It was Howard University's Prof. Nzongola Ntalaja, also from the Congo, who came to his rescue, though effectively on my side.
Big brother, you better be properly informed about what you are talking about.
By the way, what is "Bricolage"? That is my special assignment to you for now.

This article is informed and timely. Trying to find fault or belittle the writer is petty. You, Ahoofe. is the one who needs an assignment.

I totally agree with the contents of your article;indeed, our brains have been taken to the cleaners, been thoroughly white-washed, and handed back to us. The irony of our present plight lies therein, however, that even this essay, and our subsequent comments are written in a language that is alien to us. No doubt this is so because of individual ethnocentric pride(bordering on arrogance)that renders us unable to agree about whose vernacular we should select as our national/official language. Surely, that is our first point of departure in "re-africanizing" ourselves in these days of post-colonial times?
That's humorous! Great write up, sir
