Adequate resources should be made available to discover these future stars and teach them the techniques. Good nutrition is of paramount importance as most the players develop stunted growth due to malnutrition.Our players at youth levels are not big and strong compared to their counterparts in Europe and the AMERICAS hence the desire to do the AGE cheating. Eventually it does not help us at the senior level as the so called young players get " old" faster before they are drafted to play first team soccer in Europe.
Even if we do not win trophies with our youth teams of the right ages , Is is ok since the talents will be uncovered by scouts and developed in European clubs for us.

I thought soccer players in Ghana are now are groomed in soccer academies and assumed the academies have the proper coaches. It sounds from this article how wrong my thinking is. Anyway, whatever the situation maybe, I have known that our soccer players are talented but lack something that make them rank behind top players in the world. Asamoah Gyan, our top striker, doesn't consistently show proper soccer techniques and I have wondered the quality of the coaching he had as a kid. Lack of technique is the reason our players can't hit the target on a free kick. It is also the reason they can't keep the ball for long. It is interesting, how then did players like Abdul Razak, Abedi Pele and Tony Yeaboah learn to play such sound soccer?

The the senior level, it's less motivation, more technique and completing strategic tasks. It also requires players to be.more disciplined

They gave the trophy away. U have played Libya previously so did Konadu even do his homework on Libya? Frankly, or don't think he did.
