Please please enough is enough. Let us put a stop to this sickening obsession with the BBC and its employees.Allow the Dumor family to mourn in peace. KOMLA WAS A GIFTED JOURNALIST WHO WORKED FOR THE BBC A UK GOVERNMENT FUNDED ENTITY WHICH PROMOTES THE INTEREST OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT.In the BBC Dumor was just another foreign born journalist period. He was in the employ of a foreign government, not a Ghanaian government, working for the British. In the UK Dumor's untimely death was mentioned only in passing by various news outlets. There were no commentary from 10 Downing Street. There was no great fun fair about his death in the UK. Let us respect ourselves for once fellow Ghanaians. The talented Komla did not contribute greatly to Ghana's well-being no matter what the hero worshipers say. Komla was noted for his objectivity.Even he would be appalled by the media circus his death has generated in Ghana. We have seen various Ghanaian dignitaries falling over each other attempting to air their views about "Africa's great son" and similar over the top commentary. The Ghanaian media scrum has got to stop.

Since Komla's bedroom is not in the BBC studios they will have to also make their enquiries before telling the whole world about this tragedy that has befallen us.You said it yourself that you couldn't contact the family by phone,so how the hell is the BBC going to announce something like that if they haven't ben informed directly by a member of Komla's family ? You have to be professional in whatever you do and for this one ,i let it slide and not beat the BBC with a stick.

May Komla`s soul rest in peace. How I had wished that the same level of eulogy and sympathy had been accorded the late Richard Kotey of GBC and the VOA.Richard Kotey was a gem of a journalist. When he passed,he received scant tribute. It`s a matter of regret that Richard`s stature and pedigree as a prolific journalist was glossed over.
