But the institutional issues you intelligently raised in your piece are the ones that drive visiting Ghanains nuts when they interface with the bureaucracy. The writer surely made my day. When I made the mistake of trying to go to Ghana for good, it's exactly the kind of problem the writer mentioned above that had me pack up and run back to Yankee land.

Most Ghanians will rise to the support of politician even if the politician has stolen a fowl just because of party or kinship. We ask for from school fees to hospital bills and are totally compromised. The solution is in taking each other to task. Thanks for a good piece.
