Civil society and concerned citizens should educate the farmers and general public and mobilize them to reject the GMO agenda which would only benefit the unscrupulous scientists and politicians who have been bribed to sell their country for a mess of potage !

Parliament should please listen to experts on this. We should always articulate our interest first. Multinationals are mean and we should better be careful. Think about our future generations. Nana thanks for doing your part.

EVERY law MUST be subject to ammendments or repel. If proponents of a law are calling for it to be irrevocable, then that Law is not only bad, but that it has something very very sinister and EVIL to hide.
If parliament pass this law, NON of them will go scot free. I swear!!!

Africa and Africans today have less control of their destinies than ever before. In trying to find favor with white people, African leadership has signed on to agreements, contracts, laws, etc.. without regard to African interests. It seems we are handing over our hard-fought-for independence to people who care nothing about our well being. That a Ghanaian parliament should waste time and resource in considering this type of legislation is in indeed sad - and a big SHAME.

If this law passes--that will be the last nail in the coffin. Just imagine all the poor farmers now buying seeds to plant.
But Marrieta Brew Appiah (the AG) is clueless and just passing on to parliament a bill written by the Multinationals. And the parliamentarians will likely pass it without reading it.
Democracy for the poor and oppressed = ignorance.
