1. Does it mean that there was a negotiation that started from $5m and to $10m? A good negotiator would not start $5m and end up paying $19.5.
2. Could it be that the $19.5 was not the actual amount received by SG? We issue a cheque of $19.5 to SG with the agreement that they will issue the difference between $19.5 and the actual back to the negotiators.
3. Is it possible that the difference was paid through the sale of Nana Addo’s property to SG?
4. K.T. is blaming Mr. Dogbe and The Herald for failing to publish the full attachment to his (K.T’s) memo. The Question is: Why did K.T fail to publish the full attachment to his (K.T’s) memo in his response to buttress his point and shamed Mr. Degbe, but instead quoted portions to support his claim?
I think K.T should have been silence on this one so that Mr. Degbe will carry the burden of proof. Since he is responded, the burden of proof have shifted to K.T. He should publish the full attachment to his memo.

This whole saga doesn't make sense. A hedge is by definition supposed to be value neutral. So how can we incur losses through a hedge? I can only think of 2 reasons: 1. The people who created the hedge portfolio were incompet ... read full comment

The people who created the hedge portfolio were incompetent, in which case they should all be fired for causing financial loss to the state
