I guess you are new in town hum? Some of us are not in Ghana and have neither voted before in Ghana. All the news most of us in the diaspora get access to are from Ghana web and Myjoyonline. And from this websites the writings from Okoampa Ahoofe, Akadu mensema, Adofo Rockson, Katakyie and co have reminded us time and time again in their articles that the NPP is indeed and Akan party.
You dont even need to be in Ghana to have this feel from their arrogant write ups that they call "truth to power" It is only truth to power as long as it suits their supremacist views and serve their parochial interests.
They have a bigger voice than you because they belong to the group known as the king makers of the NPP and therefore more credible than what you have to say here. You are an outsider in this party pal.
May be you need to double check their articles that can be easily accessible from Google, confer with them and come back.
Thank you

Haruna Attah announced prior to 2012 election that he was supporting JM because he is a northerner. One does not get more tribalist than this.

I will not say the NPP is an akan party but if the want to win elections the need to broaden their horizon. Making someone like Bawumia thier next candidate will help them a lot

Facts are facts. Blaming Haruna Attah will not change anything. You know it and you are pretending as usual. Just read the write-ups on this very website and you don't need Haruna Attah or anybody else to tell you. We all heard what the NPP minority leader in Parliament said about the fact that there is no Ga capable of being a presidential candidate for the party. We heard what the recent presidential candidate said " y3n Akanfo" referring to the NPP. We saw what was done to Aliu Mahama and when the time comes we will see what will happen to Bawumia in the NPP presidential race. face the truth and stop being an ostrich.

The mere fact that one is a veep does NOT mean he must be supported or acclaimed as the heir to the presidency. In the hundreds of years of the American presidency, the number of veeps that have moved to the Presidential spot can be counted on one's fingers.
Mills and mahama were both foisted on the NDC or moved up under tragic circumstances. Mahama in particular was a complement to Mills because of the South-North strategy of the major parties, and not because he was the second best. Some people like Haruna Attah believe that ANYBODY can be president. And that is one reason there is this great GULF in leadership for John Dramani Mahama is no leader.

Adamu, whether Ghanaians like it or not, the price of energy would keep rising. This is a world trend. Check the UK papers the last two weeks.
Until, Ghana constructs more hydro dams (go solar) there is very little we can do about the price of energy. If Ghanaians had not removed Nkrumah on 24 February 1966, the situation would be different. He had planned to construct several dams, see the 7 year development plan.
If Nana and the NPP come to power tonight, they would increase the price of energy, it is inevitable. And, Adamu, where were you when Haruna Attah was battling the PNDC dictatorship through The Statesman (go and read Folio 48 in the Statesman). He speaks the bitter truth, VP Aliu was a bitter man by the time he died last year. Harruna, you must write a book on how Kufour treated Aliu. Let me give one example. Kufour refused to appoint any of the young men and women around VP in 2005 into any serious position. For example Dr. Wahab, trained in Japan, Dr. Majeed, trained in the UK, Taminu, Vera Kcruz also trained in Japan. They are all in Accra, Adamu speak to these gentlemen. Alhaji Harruna Attah, write a book on how Kufour treated VP Aliu Mahama. Arthur Kenndey did his part, its your time. Act now.

If your mother is dead and you pretend she is doing fine, hmm. The early NPP stop these lies and nationalise the party the better it will be for them in future elections.

So, where is npp going to get a replacement to balance the equation which is the ostensible reason for your flawed piece.
