There is some wrong with the way Ghanaians assess situation. It always the good guys who are treated like criminals whilst the bad guys are praised for their evils deeds. They call themselves Christians as well. We all know productivity in the civil and public service is zero. We know some of the strikes are politically motivated but no one stands for the truth.

In Ghana we refuse to accept reality. We tend to insult the messenger rather than digest the message. What Nunoo-Mensah said is that:
1. Government should not pay those who refuse to work but go on strike. This makes sense.
2. If you think the country is too hot for you then get out. This is stating the obvious. Many Ghanaians who left the shores of Ghana for the so-called greener pastures did not need Nunoo Mensah's admonition but they left anyway. We all complain about difficulties yet we condone doctors, teachers and civil servants going on strike at will and yet insist on being paid after patients die, pupils miss classes and the public miss the services of the civil servants. We still pay them with our taxes for staying home. Why?

I am of the view that Ghana is not a jungle in which the most crooked is supposed to survive. Ghanaians are not ready to respect even the most simple rule. The rules not to litter, spit on the ground, urinate and most serious not to defecate around.
Ghanaians live in houses, have doors and windows and use doors to enter their houses. However when it comes to the roads Ghanaians would float the law and cross the road any how, when none of them pass through their windows to enter their houses or do they in the morning pass their children through windows out and in when they return from school.
Our indiscipline had led to us erecting wall around any structure and even playgrounds and all that led to the cost of construction of houses and roads. In most developed countries where people respect simple rules and regulation wall are not constructed around houses and roads are not barricaded to prevent people from crossing at unapproved points. People just respect the rules by not crossing the roads at unapproved points.
This year we witnessed how even the "Daily Graphic" newspaper stoop so low to parents and children who scale the walls and security object to get into the other part of the town. It was alleged that the next safe road is just 2 kilometers or less away. I am of the view that people who come from forest areas have foot path in the forest to follow, those from the grass land also have a foot path and that even those of us who came from places were grass grow on the river have a portion of the grass cut to ease canoe transportation, and that we do not cross the river just any how.
We have written that issues for strike by workers are items on their collective agreement or proposal. The cost of food, fuel and utilities are not controlled by the employer, when we are supposed to live in a market economy. All those drying their ignorance around must understand that it is only socialist states in which the state owns all the major means of production, distribution, banks, hospitals and schools, thus can control the cost of production, distribution and utilities.
The state Ghana is to pass through the means by any other capitalist country on the market to provide utilities and because the capitalist system itself is corrupt, our so called development partners will not give us what will reduce the cost of providing utilities.
Let Mr. Kofi Ali Abdul- Yekin tell us if he goes to private call every day and has he been able to produce gas from human waste. Even is Nigeria when they do not produce gas from human waste they use it as manure for their farms. In Ghana we dump it into the sea thus polluting it.
It is most unfortunate that it is our educated women who think that it is better to put on a white skin on your black skin when you enter the bath. They claim that a person in the bath with a cloth on feels at ease and cleans better than a person with the bare skin, that he or she goes into the bath with the purpose of cleaning.
How come that a person with all sorts of hair looking like that of a white person, which she can not clean every day claim that she feels at ease, even with the bad odor emanating from it.
We live in inverse society with inverse thought. We think that we must act like scavengers, vultures and hyenas, but even biologically we are apes and apes do not scavenge. A scavenging ape posses danger to himself biologically and socially that ape, the Homo Sapiens have made laws, instrument of labour and houses in and out of which we use doors to enter and not windows, then let us behave like social beings, but not as a pack of dogs.

In Ghana we do know the difference between reality and deceptions. We got the message of Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah very clear and chose to disagree with the principle he seek to advance.
If what Nunoo Mensah said are:
1. Government should not pay those who refused to work but go on strike. Is Nunoo Mensah now an MP? is he now making a new law in Ghana or doing as he pleases? Is this the first time workers are on strike in Ghana and being paid their salary? To those who despised public sector worker and see them as scarms who are not allowing the peivate sector to get more government contracts, this make sense because every government employee to them is a threat. these are the people who have dostroy the public sector employees and the services rendered. They are not interested in the reason for the strike. Nunoo Mensah is well paid and see the strike as unnecessary.
Strike embarked upon by the employees of the state is the most effective. In this kind of strike, the state loses revenue because workers have laid down tools and the burden of the salary that the state have to bear. This power make government attend to the demands of its workers and their dependants on time. A serious goverment take its workers very serious and does everything to avoid such things as strike and demonstrations. In less than six months, our goverment has removed subsidy on fuel, increase electric and water rates and all hosts of increases.
2. Ghana is indeed hot and it is getting hotter. We just had an election and majority of the voters are those who can not afford three square meal. The state had withdrawn every support it use to give Ghanaians that the poor benefit from. We are all Ghanaians and if the kitchen should be hot, we should all bear the pains equally. What we are having, is some people living like gods under the guise of being privately rich. How fair is it here to have a person like Nunoo Mensah telling Ghanaians to leave? To go to where? Is Ghana for Nunoo Mensah more than it is for any Ghanaians?
The irony is, here are managers of the Ghana Economy blaming the workers for the poor performance of the state when the managers, who are paid huge amount in salary, are even the ones apportioning the blame. The ones failing here and causing all the hardship for Ghanaians, are not the poor worker but people like Nunoo Mensah. in Ghana, leaders as mangers only acquire titles to exploit the people and take care of themselves. Who should be blame than the managers of Ghana and not the workers of Ghana? What exactly can the so called leaders boost of than bullying the population? How many machines have these well paid leaders made to support the electricity company with?

Are you sure you are a soldier or a mere imposter Mr.Andrinslin? Are you proving that Kofi Ali is right? The man said soldiers are animals and are not to be let uncontrolled in civilised society. Kofi Ali might be wrong but here you are proving that some soldiers are indeed what the writer said they are. You claimed to be a soldier forgetting that it is job you applied for and not born a soldier. If somebody said soldiers are animals and you are not born a soldier, how dare you threaten anyone? If you have a problem, start a civil case in court. Did you join the army so that you can take the law into your own hands and do as you like? If a citizen who pays your salary as a tax payer, call you a mad man, you pick up a fun and shot him? Is this what you are paid to do?
Professional soldiers are like professional boxers. They are highly deciplined and are not provoked into trivialities. Are we going to have our soldiers in Ghana on the street holding Ghansians to random? Are we still in this barbaric era?
Some of us would have been better soldiers but felt the profession is for social outcasts. It is just sad that society has degenerated so law that Indeciplined soldiers think they can take the right of Ghanaians away from them. There is indeed a lot of work to be done on this soldiers if our liberty has to equal what is attainable in the civilised society.

It is strange that people have not questioned whether Nunoo Mensah's term has expired or not! The truth is that his term should expire on the day Mahama was sworn into office in January 2013! Lets check the conditions under which he was appointed by law. For me, he has no business parading himself as the National Security advisor to the President! It is strange that the media has not taken this up and I believe they should take him on. In short if thisis the case, then he has been collecting salaries that are not legitimate and he must refund to the state all such monies. How about occupying government bungalow and enjoying all the benefits that go with that post? My goodness, what at all is working well in Ghana? Indeed, we are not in the first gear but rather in the REVERSE gear! By the way who on this earth, drives around using the first gear? Mother Ghana is bleeding slowly to death but people cannot see! God save Ghana.
