The problem with the sale of Discoverer 511 is not that it was sold but what happened to the proceeds from the sale. Okoampa-Ahoofe is just as ignorant today lecturing in some meaningless subject as the day he left Ghana. Oh but then I have forgotten in the New York-New Jersey area of the U.S.A. the mafia and criminal gangs reign supreme prompting people like Okoampa-Ahoofe to blur lines between tribal or political party loyalty and accepted norms of honesty.
Ghanaians get the sale of the Discoverer 511. What they do not and cannot accept is the process taken to sell it and the inability of all involved in the sale to account for the money realized from the sale. This is the very same criminal undertaking scheme Kufour took in the Ghana stadia renovation that brought us Wayome-gate. The Kufour era practice is to find fault with NDC and use their promised corrective actions to steal. This is how the Discoverer 511 sale went down and this is how the Stadia contracts went down. It is the same with Ghana at 50, embassy renovations led by Nana Akufo-Addo, the building of the new presidential office and residence. In each of these activities people in the NPP stole money. The NPP and Kufour believe that their stealing is better than the stealing of the fools in the NDC and it shows.
