Why do village bushmeats like you even get the stage to speak ignorantly. The game was played on Tuesday and on Wednesday, you are criticizing the prez. This your tribal hate is the reason why we will never elect your likes to the office of the presidency. Ghana is a united nation, not a divided tribal country like most of the war torn African countries.

If there is no buy-out contract then he should negotiate immediately to secure $500,000 buy-out clause so that if at any time GFA wants to sack him, he would be paid that amount. A foreign coach would have had that in his contract so why not a Ghanaian?

The entire NPP know very well that in 2004 it was Jake Obetsebi Lamptey who announced the election result in the castle. Prof Atta Mills did not go to court. The NDC Chairman and General Secretary did not go to court. Why? They knew there was going to be another election in 2008. GOD ALSO KNEW. Come 2008,the NPP lost inspite of the numerous change in figures from the Ashanti Region; and by the slightest of margins which pains them till today. So, why should Akufo Addo, Jake who announced the result in 2004 and the primitive Owusu Afriyie employ Americans to teach them how to conjure wickedness out of 'pink sheets' and go to court? Why?
The NPP must think about what you've sstated above "our defence played well as a unit" "the team defended as a unit" "the midfield offered protection". THAT IS HOW TO GROW A COUNTRY NOT GOING TO COURT BECAUSE A CCERTAIN DESPERATE AND ARROGANT EVIL DDWARF WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT AT ALL
COST, TO THE EXTENT THAT HE DECLARES 'ALL DIE BE DIE'. NPP I hope you will learn from this piece!!!

Your comment is totally amusing and smacks of crass ignorance of the highest order. The problem with people like you is that you are bitter about your life's circumstances and you are bitter about life so you tend to take it out on other people you probably consider more successful or more intelligent than you are. You don't have to be jealous of me because i am a marketing person writing an opinion on sports. You are so ignorant that your understanding of the word "professional" is laughable. What do u know about me? Do you know my background? Do you know my working experiences? I also believe you lack cognitive abilities because the thrust of the article was what did the trick for Ghana and not meant to be a complete synopsis of team Ghana. If you have cognitive abilities you will have realized this fact. Apart from the fact that the trajectory of my article is different from what your warped thinking is alluding to i inserted a caveat at the opening of the article. You didn't see the caveat did you? If you want to contribute knowledge you can write a comprehensive article discussing the strengths and weaknesses of the Black Stars and then proffer solutions if you so wish. That's how knowledge is shared. So now between the 2 of us who is probably the fool? lmao

This analysis is good but the writer left out a key factor and that is the timing of the match. By choosing to play the match on the Tuesday at the tail end of FIFA's window for playing the match, the team had enough time to prepare.
After a busy weekend in Europe where most of our players ply their trade, the earliest time we can assemble our team is Tuesday. Thus choosing to play Egypt on the Tuesday after this means one clear week to prepare. The authorities must have learnt this lesson in the Zambian game. Playing Zambia on a Friday at the start of FIFA's window for playing the match means we had just 3 days to prepare after assembling on the Tuesday after a busy European weekend. We nearly paid dearly for this as the Zambians showed better match fitness hence the narrow margin of victory.
Having enough time to prepare for Egypt was to me the real thing that made the Stars far superior to the Pharaohs.
Having enough time for preparation is key. It is therefore in our favour for the Egyptians to choose to play the return leg on Tuesday 19th November.
