No nation has succeeded without paying particular attention to education. All the advanced nations depended largely on investing their national resources on education. The developing nations also followed suit: Indonesia, South Korea, Malasia, all did the same. Ghana complains about leadership crisis as daily antherm and we leave the leaders to provide the solutions. It will never happen. Concerned Ghanaians should find a means to compel them to change. This should be the right approach. Let us back our demand for change with action.

It is easy to sit in a radio or TV studio and make statements without due and detailed consideration. The arguments against the education ministry are best unfortunate, at worst irresponsible, naive and betrary a lack of understanding of the role of advocacy in civil society.
The leadership of IMANI (Ghana) has to be very careful in the way they conduct their business and their utterances, statements and positions on national issues which bring into question their neutrality or true motives as an organisation. Credibility has to be hard earned and for IMANI their integrity will depend on their contribution to national development and governance based on consistent, neutral and sound but critical inputs into our national dialogue, political and national development discourse.
Anything outside of this is unhelpful and will be viewed with suspicion, and rightly so in my view.
