Far East Asiatic nations, China and or South American nations do not come to the UN to beg for recognition but have acted in economic ways at their respective legislative bodies and or executive offices to ensure the right infrastructures and business atmosphere existed allowing their own citizens to flourish thereby enticing most outside cultures to seek investment opportunities in their country.
For over half a century the only two things Africans have offered the world on a rather consistent uninterrupted basis is human capital and our undeveloped natural and mineral resources on the cheap. There are politicians and educated elite class busy stealing money from government and or mismanaging institutions entrusted to them while they blame the United States or some other country for our pathetic existence; that dog will not hunt any longer. Telling the world Africa need partners is like a drunken man for a husband and father who tell society he has gone sober and needed financial credit to start living again. The one thing Western democratic nations understand in business and making money; they have gone to places like China where there is no human rights and individual liberties and invested. They have gone to Russia right after the collapse of USSR, once their staunch enemy/rival and heavily invested. The problem with Africans, our leaders and outlook on life is and has always been never to accept things from one another especially not when they are on the African continent.
Do we know of any political thief in Africa whose money, taken from their respective national coffers, has hidden the stolen money in another African nation for safe keeping? Most of Africa’s morally bankrupt thieves we call our leaders have their money in European banks and lately in banks in the Caribbean island nations while we go loan hunting for building structures or developing ideas. The one thing Ghana and or any African nation need then and now is engage in development worth anyone’s investment; begging will not cut it. We have been taken for fools because we show all the signs of being fools or foolish.
