To those of your generation who don't know, this man lived by the sword and therefore died by the sword! he was full of hatred in his heart for Ashantis and Akans in general and together with the rest of the Dzulakofe mafia (Kojo Tsikata, Tatsu Tsikata and the rest) masterminded the killing of prominent Ashantis like Gen. Afrifa etc. It's the long arm of God's justice that has taken him away. Look at where he fell; far away from home. We shed no tears for a quintinessential tribalist like Kofi Awoonor!
AWOONOR STOOD BESIDE RAWLINGS AND SAID THAT THE AIM OF THE REVOLUTION WAS TO TAKE AWAY AKANS INFLUENSE IN GHANA ESPECIALLY THE ASHANTIS HE GREATELY REJOYCED WHEN RAWLINGS SLAUGHTERED TWO HEADS OF STATES AND SENIOR MILITARY OFFICIALS 90% OF WHOM WERE NON EWES
IN ONE OF HIS WRITINGS HE SAID THAT HE WAS AN EWE FIRST BEFORE GHANA.
LET THE LORG JUDGE HIM!

I have the major resources on earth, but I'm stupid enough to allow others to use me to enrich themselves for a little bit of myself. I look up to them and I wish I could be like them in my own pace.
EUROPEAN EYE:
I have no resources on my own, but I would use the foolish on earth to accomplish my plans and aspirations. It is not my fault for Africans to allow themselves for that matter. Well, I need these things, so I have use my ways and means to engineer my wishes.
ASIAN EYE:
I have come of age against bullying of the west. Now, I am on my own. I can stand on my two feet. If anything, I do not need USA, but I need the AFRICANS who has the resources cheap. I have to find a way to compete for their resources.
MIDDLE EAST:
Religion is where it is exact. We were raised and form under religions and it takes part of everything we do, including our government systems. Even, if it takes my blood, I will fight for that till the end of my existance.

The number of Americans giving up their citizenship has rocketed this year - partly, it's thought, because of a new tax law that is frustrating many expats.
Goodbye, US passport.
That's not a concept that Americans contemplate lightly. But it's one that many of them seem to be considering - and acting on.
The number of expatriates renouncing their US citizenship surged in the second quarter of 2013, compared with the same period the year before - 1,131 cases to 189 in 2012. It's still a small proportion of the estimated six million Americans abroad, but it's a significant rise.
The list is compiled by the Federal Register and while no reasons are given, the big looming factor seems to be tax.
A new law called the Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act (Fatca) will, from 1 July next year, require all financial institutions around the world to report directly to the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) all the assets and incomes of any US citizens with $50,000 (£31,000) on their books. The US could withhold 30% of dividends and interest payments due to the banks that don't comply.

Tell us why, using the form at the bottom of the story

It's an attempt by the US authorities to recover an estimated $100bn a year in unpaid taxes on US citizens' assets overseas. Unlike other countries, Americans are taxed not only as residents of the US but also as citizens, wherever they live.
Suddenly, some expats are waking up in a cold sweat. They have always had to file tax returns and disclose foreign accounts on a form called the FBAR, although in

Michael, this goes to show that you know NOTHING about who you are......and need a write up from Nannie who? To tell you who you are???? And you buy into this crap??? WOW! My goodness!!
Michael, you are one of the ignorant ones and the reason why OUR history is needed to be taught and lived by. How sad!!!!!
Michael, you are very lost indeed! And it's a shame you had to expose your ignorance on this platform.
I for one, always like to look into the past through to the present and critically analyze where are at now. As the saying goes......."if you do not know where you come from, (as a human-being) then you would not know where you are going”.
The history of our African civilization has been distorted and ignored by haters of our continent and with the help of their 'Uncle Tom' collaborators amongst us. (Like for instance this Michael character, who reminds me so much of that Okoampa-Ahoofe Kwame). Another house slave.
There have been many misconceptions about the lives of Africans before the advent of European and American colonization.
What these Michaels and co. are not aware of is that, long before the colonization by Europeans, Africans built kingdoms and monuments that rivaled any European monarchy.
African kingdoms of Meroë, Ghana, and the Swahili and their rich contributions to the pages of history have all been distorted and ignored.
This has been disregarded by our own African people like you, as nothing more than an irrelevant past history. Oh! How sad!
Other nations and continents even celebrate their darkest histories.
Unfortunately, a lot of our present day educated illiterates have no clue about the scholars produced by the ancient Timbuktu and many others, as well as the era of the Songhai Empire. The university structures then, in Timbuktu has been the 'template' of all universities anywhere in the world today. The concept is still copied till this very day. Our precious artifacts of our civilization were stolen from us and are being exhibited at museums for our own to pay to see them.
Many Africans from all walks of the continent (speaking different languages) went there to be educated to become affluent and rich scholars of substance to their societies, way before the arrival of the colonialists. (Please take some time out and read about ‘The Wealth of Africa – Great Zimbabwe’ – the British Museum).
These are the positives we need highlight and learn to improve our minds, in order to build our own futures. And NOT the study of the Shakepeares and many others………………which has no relevance to our African society.
Have we ever asked ourselves how Africans managed to achieve that?....... No! NEVER!
But rather you have chosen the path of irrelevant slave masters ideology which ‘mis-educates’ you and has brainwashed you into believing how POOR and WORTHLESS we are as a continent/people, without recognizing the toll the slave trade had on Africa and its citizens.
Or are you going to come up with the usual cliche of we selling ourselves for slavery? Don't forget some Jews did the same of their citizens to the Nazis.........but are still being paid reparations till this very day, to progress in life!
Why don't you ask the Jews their experiences and find out what it did and the effects it had on them?
Moreover, we continually educate ourselves in languages alien to our true human selves and also mimic lifestyles totally alien to our true positive cultures and expect that to make us thrive??????
I am afraid, without any proper education which looks into the positives of our past, and one that also collectively delves into our rich past achievements in our own AFRICAN heritage..........then, we are doomed to consider life to be war for ourselves.
Finally, you Michael, for whatever reason or motive you have for presenting this article.......is very
sad indeed! It's a real shame and you don't seem to realize its implications on your own people. I guess you don't, because you still require being emancipated from MENTAL 'HOUSE' SLAVERY.
GOD BLESS GHANA!

Benash, it is the likes of you and Michael, your slave masters tap into, to distort facts about your own human existence to the detriment of your people. You lot are the problem of Africans and I consider the likes of you as AFROPEANS....not Africans.
AFROPEANS are the house-slaves who take the 'bread crumbs' off their masters' tables and agree with whatever they are told.
They also take pride in siding with their masters and always denigrate their fellow Africans.......which makes them feel good about themselves.
They sit back and point fingers and quote their masters' derogatory remarks about their own people....they join in the laughter as well.
They are a breed of educated illiterates, unwilling to research and propose changes for the betterment of their own people.
I'm sure if you looked into your past, regarding your ancestors........they would have been involved in the slave trade. That is the history of the minority of Africans of no value, selling their fellow citizens. And I wouldn't be surprised of your findings which runs through your bloodline. (Think deeply about it).
And I can assure you that those Africans who stood up and fought slavery of all kinds are still through the same bloodline fighting all forms of exploitation and the likes of you whenever necessary.
It's a real shame we have you Afropeans in our midst............
What a shame!
