Hi Dr Bokor,
Why waste your time on this copy clerk. Don't you know that his law certificate is NPP induced? He failed several papers but was given presidential pardon even in the law school. Just read what he wrote : The court mistakenly read out a reversed judgement. What does it mean? I am not English but my layman's understanding tells me that the double negatives introduced into the sentense rather means positive whereby confirming what the court read to be correct. My simple understanding is the the statement : The court read out a reversed judgement means that what the court read out was a mistake and the other version os the statement is true. On the other hand when the word mistaken has again be introduced in the sentence, then goes a long way to reaffirm what was read to be true. I kindly plead with does with better understanding of the Queens languge should help me out, Bye

The hypocrite partisan EWE, Kumah Bokor keeps on belittling himself through his childish write ups which carries no weight of maturity. What the primitive EWE dosen't know is that, he is acting like "a butterfly who thinks it's a bird." An outspoken foolish man who thinks he is an entity!

This idea that after a court ruling, there should be no discussion is absurd. Gabby is expressing a valid opinion and this Bokor Chap, who has nothing good to say about the NPP, is spitting fire? Now let me ‘educate’ him a little on what Gabby said. By the way I am told that Bokor studied journalism so he must be excused that he does not understand statistics.
First of all, there is a difference between the categories of infractions and the reliefs sought in the petition. The petitioners went to court alleging infractions, three of which are against either the Constitution or statutes and three falling under the general category of malpractices. They did not say that these categories were mutually exclusive. For the benefit of Bokor, that is to say when one occurs, it does not mean that the other cannot occur. In fact the petitioners contended that some of these infractions occurred together on same pink sheets.
Using these infractions as the vehicle, the petitioners prayed the Court to grant them three reliefs being:
1) John Mahama was not validly elected President;
2) That Nana Akufo Addo was rather validly elected President; and
3) Any consequential orders the Court may deem fit.
It is true that all the Justices threw out all the infractions under general malpractices. However, contrary to the widely-held view that the infraction relating to duplicate serial numbers was summarily thrown out, some of the Justices held that this was used to perpetrate some mischief and they did not believe Dr Afari-Gyan’s explanation. The only reason why they did not uphold it was that no law existed that mandated that pink sheets should have unique identification marks. Justice Dotse in particular recommended that this should be so for future elections.
It is true that if you take individual constitutional and statutory infractions, and if you compartmentalise these, and if you assume that they are mutually exclusive, then the majority dismissed these claims as well. However, on the pleadings by the petitioners that they were not fighting the case on categorisation for its own sake, but that they used the categorisation to help the Court understand the nature of the infractions, then every INFRACTION IS AN INFRACTION.
More importantly though, let us look at the rulings and the reliefs that the Justices granted:
i) They were unanimous in denying relief (2), as listed above. They did not grant the relief that Nana Addo was rather validly elected President;
ii) They unanimously granted relief (3) in that some called for reforms and some (majority 5-4) called for the elections to be re-run in polling stations affected by the infractions they upheld.
iii) Rather more importantly, majority of the judges (5-4) granted the first relief that John Mahama was not validly elected. These were Justices Ansah, Baffoe-Bonnie, Dotse, Owusu, and Annin-Yeboah.
So what Justice Atuguba read in court on the 29th of August only holds when you compartmentalise the infractions, and also hold that they are mutually exclusive. If you accept that every infraction is an infraction and that five Justices held that John Mahama was not validly elected, then you can begin to understand what Gabby is saying. It seems that Bokor is the one who is being intellectually lazy.

I find it extremely difficult to understand what sort of gene can be found among the members of NPP. If by my understanding, had the Supreme Court asked the electoral commission to conduct fresh elections in the strongholds of President Mahama, the NPP stands a dogs chance of winning the Presifency for Akufo Addo? How stupid and daft is it that NDC supporters will turn against their own party and vote for Akufo Addo to become President in their own contituecies where he wanted their votes annulled. NPP keep dreaming.
