We are not the only group going for head to head in this final match. The list goes on. Only a few has convincingly qualified to play the Home and Away play-offs.
Group A
Ethiopia is ahead of South Africa by 2 points. The scare situation involves these two teams are, Ethiopia playing away to Central African Republic; whilst South Africa playing home to Botswana. For this group, Ethiopia has to go all out to avoid elimination. If both Ethiopia and South Africa win, Ethiopia will go. If Ethiopia draws and South Africa wins, Head to Head Rule would be used between the two teams to decide who is to move ahead of the other. And Since Ethiopia beat South Africa at home 2-1 and drew 1-1 in the return match, Head to Head, Ethiopia will still be heading to the final round.
Group B
Tunisia is leading Cape Verde with 2 point and is playing at home against Cape Verde. This match is dated on the 7th, which is today too. You know what I mean, the atmosphere would be the same as ours.
Group C
For group C, Ivory Coast has already qualified to the final round.
Group D
I don't have to elaborate on anything when it comes to this group. Matter of fact, the whole world has been patiently waiting for this day. The 2012 African Kings going head to head against the all might Black Stars, whom most of the European Nations would love to see it falls just because we have become a torn in their fleshes in the recent WC tournaments. Like the song goes, "today bi today!! hold your waist!!......." Today we will hold our arms up instead and say, YES! We made IT!
Group E
Congo is battling with Burkina and their match is today too. Congo has 10 points and Burkina has 9 points. Today Congo is playing away to Niger, whilst Burkina playing hosting Gabon. Congo has no other choice but to win because though a draw could help, it wouldn't help that much if Burkina wins against Gabon at home. This means Congo has no choice but to win and so is Burkina Faso.
Group F
Nigeria plays Malawi, who is trailing them by two points, at home. For Nigeria, all they need is a draw to qualified to the final round of the WC qualification. Their game is tomorrow.
Group G & H
Egypt and Algeria have already booked their places for the home and away play-offs.
Group I
Cameroon has 10 points and Libya has 9 points. This is a similar situation as ours. The leader of the table is playing home against the challenger. This match is scheduled for tomorrow, 8th.
Group J
Senegal is leading the group with 9 points followed by Uganda with 8 points. Senegal is also playing home hosting its toughest competitor and the encounter is today.

We can't wait for the whistle to go off at 4pm GMT, and to play like we've never. It's going to be a tough match but Ghana will win for sure.

Meanwhile, they too have Malawi to contend with tomorrow in Calabar.
Like us versus Zambia, they only need a draw while the Flames must win to progress.
Don't miss the action on Saturday, guys. Keshi and Saintifet have something to settle.

Good, factual and motivating piece by the writer. I just feel sorry that DSTV won't have their cameras in Kumasi to beam the game live to us in South Africa.

Zambia have not lost a competitive match against Ghana since 1992, when the Black Stars beat them 1-0 in the group stage of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations. Since then, Zambia have won all three non-friendly matches the two teams have played - including the second Group D match 1-0 last summer in Ndola - although none of those have been in Ghana.
Good job, GFA for diplomatically assembling almost all the super guys.
