Good advice. But did Akufo-Addo really win the elections vote for vote? If he did, why didn't he ask for a straight forward re-count of the votes? Winning through the court by the twists and turns of technicalities and legalities is shameful and not what Ghanaians want. Elections are won by practical on-the-ground issues and activities, and not by laptop deduced evidences. NPP should get down to the nitty-gritties of outlining and pursuing clear achievable policies. The party should stay clear off knee-jerk unachievable but laudable slogans like the "Free SHS Education NOW." Ghanaians are becoming much wiser on such issues. Akufo-Addo definitely had too many issues to personally address - charisma, "fake" certificates, morality, employment probity, respectability, etc. If Akufo-Addo belonged to any other party aside NPP or NDC he couldn't have pulled even 10% of the total votes. He is definitely not a presidential material for Ghana now. Possible, he was born to be a POLITICAL REFORMER AND NOT A PRESIDENT. The disparity between the NPP parliamentary and presidential votes is simply because many NPP members voted for NPP MPs but NOT for the NPP Presidential candidate - many voted for the NDC presidential candidate. This clearly shows that even in his own party, Akufo-Addo does not enjoy total support. 2016 is another chance. The NPP should sit down, analyse their short-comings, change leadership, policies and strategies and hopefully, they will be a force to reckon with. Oh!!! NPP

NDC seems to have a new way of doing it every time. I foresaw this situation before the elections. The way the electoral commissioner, Afari-Djan spoke about the elections gave away the plan, but it seems Ghanaians were not reading between the lines.
Why did they not want journalists close by poling stations and collation centres? Previously, reporter made the figures public even before it reached EC headquarters. So they tried to stop that practice so that nobody can verify.
Why was he insisting that if party agents are not vigilant he will declared whatever reaches him?

Well for your information, the opinions of all the 9 justices have been posted on this cite since yesterday. I have read 5 of them so far, those of Atuguba, Ansah, Adinyira; and Owusu. The decisions were not arbitrary. They were all well researched and gave very objective reasoning behind all their various positions. If you would remove the political colours of your eye lenses and spend sufficient time on the document most of these uninformed comments that you make would cease. I urge all supporters of both NPP and NDC to try and read the doc before coming back to sink their teeth at the reputations of the Lordships and ladyships of the SC. I have spent 5 hrs so far and still reading.
