There is no logic in your assertion that the erroneous 6-3 vote could have influenced Nana to seek a review.
First of all if a 5-4 decision was sufficient for review consideration then there were two of those that he could have acted on. After all the petitioners said errors in each category was sufficient to when annulled could make Nana President.
So why couldn't he latch on the two 5-4 decisions to seek a review.
Secondly Nana in subsequent statemens after the ruling error was corrected still maintained his willingness to accept the verdict even.
The court owes no explanation to the behind the scenes happenings preceding their decision.
Majority of Ghanaians including the ones you have misled throughout the court process have moved on. I once described you as the Dick Morris of Ghanaian election politics. You are trying to out do him.

Thanks so much for such a wonderful piece. The issues raised here shows how disdain the presiding judge had for the entire country. He thinks he is above the laws of the country. If such RULES were there to be followed just like RULES for elections to be followed which were not in totality and that brought the election petition to the court. Then one would be scratching his head to ask WHY the Supreme Court itself erred in following PROCEDURE or set of RULES. It's a damn shame on Ghana. We have so many learned people but less "Critical thinkers" and less people who applies "Common Sense."

Tsatsu's attempt to make a name for himself after his abysmal performance at the courts and the corruption engulfing the presidency will do NDC in. It is important the NPP realize this and start working on that for their own good, instead of keeping on flogging a dead horse.
You guys have a work to do; choosing the next leader which has the potential of tearing the party apart like what happened some years ago; Ashanti divide- Victor Owusu's PFP vrs Akyem's divide- Ofori Atta's UNC. This is something you guys need to work on assiduously and fastidiously. There is no time to waste. Kwaku.

Nyasasem,
We cannot run away from the fact that something went seriously wrong with Election 2012 and on the 29th of August as well. The abuse of Mother Ghana that you referred to is a product of our lakadaisical attitude to national issues. We need to begin to demand that our elected officials follow civilised procedures and do the right thing at all times.
Unless the inherent problems in our electoral system, and there are many, are sorted out properly, anybody can start campaigning today for Election 2016, put out the most credible message to the voters and only what the flawed electoral system wants will happen.
If our judges believe that forging someone's signature on official documents does not matter, establishing an illegal polling station in my backyard and getting my friends and family to vote and adding the votes from my illegal polling station to the national tally does not matter, we have very fundamental problems that cannot be swept under the carpet. Next time around, the war might start at the polling stations!

Tsatsu Tsikata said since the judgment of the court, he has been trying to get a copy to know exactly what was said or written, but had not been successful.
“And what we have been told is that Justice Anin Yeboah’s judgement was not available in electronic form, it was in hard copy and they are now trying to get it in electronic form, meanwhile, as you and I know surely, extracts from his judgement are being put online and only his judgement is being put online by people who evidently are able to secure a copy even though we as counsel for the various parties have sought to get a copy without success.”
Everybody knos you are one of the few who have copies but still cry foul.

Kwaku Azar's zealousness is beginning to take the form of a misguided crusade. This is a typical example of a sad sore loser who is looking for excuses even though there is non and no genuine reason for it. I don’t know whether the time for the sitting was specifically slated at 10 am or whether Kwaku Asare is assuming that since the supreme court starts sitting at ten then the fact that the judgement was scheduled for that day automatically implies that the judgement will be delivered at 10 am. The Judges were in chambers before that time and were within their right to tidy up matters before coming to deliver their judgement. What is wrong with that
The knee jerk reaction of Azar to the supreme courts sitting on that day betrays him as some one who is wallowing in a self impose misery and ordeal hence the several questions he is posing. My answer is simple! true therapy comes from allowing people to find their own answers so he must be allowed to find answers to these common sense questions. It will clear the sour taste in his mouth since it is of his own making.
He also questions a minor mistake by the court and tried to make a mountain of it. The truth of the matter is that the SC judges overwhelmingly voted against what the petitioners were seeking. To cancel votes and to add those votes cancelled to Akufo Addo and thereby declare him president. Non of the judges gave the petitioners that relief even those judges who went with the npp did not ask for such annulment instead they wanted the cancellation at specific places but called for a rerun. Those were stronghold of the ndc so they did not do them any favours. If anything at all the president would have won hands down.
I understand that this same Kwaku Asare had quoted generously from Justice Anims' judgement. What he wrote as coming from this Judge was very disparaging of the ndc and the ec at a time when the judgement was not yet official record so the impression is that he had access to this judges' judgement before it was officially released. It is this same Asare who was mentioned in the Awuku tape in London. It seems to me that this professor is completely getting out of control and some of his actions are beginning to border on lunacy.
I understand that the authorities are investigating how he got the judgement in advance and so he is pretending to create the impression that he has no knowledge of or seen any judgement. I will say that he is just making room for a defence when questioned about how he got the judgement and from whom. I suppose these are questions which he must be addressing in his mind and not these infantile questions he wants answered.

"Some of you "PHDs" are threat to our Nation" was meant for what I wrote up there. You conveniently chose to answer what you want to justify your pontification about a Azar's sins without telling us where you got your information, which has not been released officially? Sort of pot calling the kettle black. Don't you think so?
And please, the air is free, I come and leave here as I please just like you do, especially anytime you smell of Azar's articles. I don't see why it should be a problem to you or anyone else, unless you think this place should be left for only NDC fanatics to spread their lies and personal attacks on their betters.
Shalom!
