Doesn’t the second point defeat the first?

You guys are missing a point here and this is what makes you two blind. The three pleadings of the six which Anin Yeboah was said to have voted in favour of the respondents were entirely different in that he had no choice as he could not sell his conscience in regard to them.
Are you guys not taking a side as your article suggest? Have you guys no understanding of 'from the onset, and when the NDC decided to enjoin Anin Yeboah took a persisten and consistent opposing stance'?

Is the VR part of the Republic of Togo or not? Tsatsu even came from the Anlo area of the VR, which was not part of the TVT that was given to the Germans in 1884 by the British and taken back from them in 1915 but rather the Gold Coast colony long before the Asante and Northern Territories Protectorates were added in 1900 and 1898 respectively. What he said was perfectly logical and part of why judges may take decisions in even the US. That is why when a judge is nominated for the SC in the US, there is so much media focus and grilling in the Congress about his views, earlier rulings on some controversial cases, etc. Tsatsu clearly said, as a law lecturer, that the ideal thing is that such things as political leanings [and religious inclination] do not influence the decisions of judges but that is not often the case. He then went on to use Justice Anim-Yeboah as an example whose decisions he believed had been influenced by his leaning towards the NPP. True or false? Can the man take a lie detector test to prove that Tsatsu was wrong? Can he honestly say that his conscience is clear and his earlier decision referred to wasn't influenced by Kufuor's bid to have overturned the govt's loss at the SC and intention to imprison Tsatsu by all means??? I hav enot been bothering to read much things from this case but I shall read that of Justice Anyim-Yeboah to see for myself how he justified his decisions in this foolish case which should have been ruled 9-0.
If Tsatsu caused financial loss to the country of about $200,000 and deserve to go prison, Rawlings was very right at being pissed at Mills for letting go scot free the NPP hardened crooks who caused such losses running into 100s of millions of $$$$! And Tsatsu even hedged his action, backed by advice from internationally reputed financial bodies, by taking up more shares in Valley Farms in lieu of the payment, which farm was adjudged a profitable venture, and so Ghana was going to recover that money and even more on top! NO LOSS WAS THEREFORE GOING TO BE CAUSED IN THE LONG RUN!
What Tsatsu did was exactly the kind of things he was doing to raise funds to fund the cash-strapped GNPC and turned it into an emerging international player hobnobbing with international financial institutions, and thereby earning the accolade of "Financial Wizard." But in that world, it is you win some , you lose some; even George Soros loses at times, sometimes billions overnight!
It was therefore just pure malice that led the NPP under Kufuor to hound and imprison Tsatsu for taking a managerial decision. I can't begrudge him for venting his spleen on Anim-Yeboah when he got his chance. He sucks! And he knows that himself! Ghana's judiciary is no knight in shining armour guiding our rights, etc.

Although Tsatsu is my cousin, I am not holding brief for him but agree with him completely on his post verdict comments. In no way has he committed contempt of the a sitting court. Those who argue that he should be charged of contempt forget that the Judiciary is not one person Justice Ayim. Without critical comments from members of the bar, the bench becomes corrupt.
If indeed you have any dealing with the bench and found a member bias, it is your civic, and moral responsibility to uphold that sacred principle of judicial purity.
Tsatsu has given indication that Justice Ayim had been bias in the past, that judgement can be reveiwed for the falsity or the truth of the statement. For one to descend on the messenger not the message, it is that logical behavior that produced LOSERS in court.
Call for the review of Justice Ayim previous judgements and observe the trend in how his judicial construction speaks of.

Tsatsu has nothing to lose as he does not sit on judgement of others.
All cases tried by Justice Ayim since he joined the bench can be reviewed to establish whether his judicial constructions are ultra vires.
An illogical response to a logical statement by Tsatsu should not be the source of the next 'tornado'. It will be in the interest of the Justice Ayim's followers to keep quiet as a can of worm might be opened in review of previous judgements by the justice.
Tsatsu did not label the judicial system, but spoke of a single person. He did not even mentioned anything NPP but said the Justice was bias towards the NDC position. The logic here is the opposite of white is not black nor the opposite of woman is man!!!

Ewes and Rawlings are filthy and thieving Togolese, whose main aim is to destabilise Ghana. Ewes belong to Togo. All can see Tsatsu is a typical Ewe. They dont criticise their type and inward looking. Based on the information you have given, it was the NDC appointed Justices who were biased and politically clouded. The NPP Judge-Anim Yaboah, voted fairly- three in favour and three against but the NDC appointed Judges, voted 100% for the NDC. Even the NPP appointed Adinyira voted against the NPP. Tsatsu what about this.

First, Your article is fraud from head to toe. Your article offered your readers a pabulum narration which took the learned lawyer and lecturer(Mr. Tsikata) out of context and consequently ignores or distorts the substantial arguments and factual claims he made in response to the questions put before him by his host.
Mr. Tsikata never mounted a Press Conference to make the alleged unwarranted attack on the Judge. He was granting an interview in relation to his observation of the outcome of the Electoral Petition trial.
You argued as if Mr. Tsikata's objective was to assess judges, their judgments in relation to their political affiliation-- a kind of 'straw man' arguments whereby one set his own questions making it appear like a faulty questions of his opponent and knocking them down to be appear like an academic heavy-weight.
You also in many instances employed verbose words to rains insults on Mr. Tsikata in order to feel like a scholar. That is not scholarship. That is a work of a semi-illiterate who is only full of himself. You are no where near in intellectual capacity to criticize Mr. Tsikata and I think you will ever get the aptitude to even appreciate his submission let alone to be able to criticize him.
Below is the accurate representation of what Mr. Tsikata's comments and the context within which he reiterate them:
He was asked if he was surprise about voting patterns of the dissented judges. His response was NO. Here, he only cited Anim Yeboah's name as to why his answer was NO. He argued that right from the onset the said judge was not even in favor of NDC joining the petition as interested Party. THIS IS FACTUAL
He further argued that throughout the proceedings, The judge in question was not satisfied with NDC's position and voted against them in many instances. THIS IS FACTUAL.
Tsikata further reminded the host and the audience that for whatever the reasons of said judge in doing that, judges are also humans like anyone else with ideological, political etc. coloration in the decision that they make. THIS IS ALSO FACTUAL
He further explained that in Anim Yeboah's case, he was appointed by President Kuffour (THIS IS FACTUAL) and he PROBABLY be loyal to Kuffour's cause. THIS IS AN OPINION based on the facts above with a precedent below and there is nothing wrong with this in any academic discussion. It is what scholars call Critical Reflection.
Precedent:
He further cited a scenario as to why Anim Yeboah could still be loyal to Kuffour and bidding his party's cause-- a case where the judge err by juxtaposing IMF and IFC regulations to make a judgment. A stark fact which all critics are silent about. Looking at the foregoing, the difficulty of his critics (especially Owusu Ansah, Emmanuel Sarpong) are non existent. It' has therefore arose out of sheer hatred born out of jealousy of Tsikata's enviable and formidable academic credentials.
