Kwame Nkrumah was an opportunist period. Kwame Nkrumah did not returned home in 1947 and became general secretary of the newly formed UGCC. He was brought home by UGCC. Infact, he is responsible for all the problems we are facing in Ghana and Black Africa. Since we were the first black State to became independent and Nkrumah did turn Ghana into one party state, almost all of the countries that became independent follow suit. Without Nkrumah, we would not have people like Mugabe, Mobutu and the rest.

A man goes to the famous Papaye restaurant in Accra with his girlfriend and orders the 23 february 1966 Mouton. The waiter returns with a bottle full of wine, pours a small amount in the glass for tasting. The customer picks up the glass, smells the wine, and puts it down on the table with a thud.
"This is not the 23 February 1966 Mouton."
The waiter assures him it is, and soon there are another twenty people surrounding the table, including the chef and the manager trying to convince the man that the wine is the 23 February 1966 Mouton.
Finally someone asks him how he knows that it is not the 23 February 1966 Mouton.
"My name is Phillipe de Rothschild, and I make the wine."
Finally, the original waiter steps forward and admits that he poured the 24 February Clerc Milon .
"I could not bear to part with our last bottle of 23 February 1966. 1, He 'did not RETURN TO GHANA....' Nkrumah was brought home by Mr. Ako Adjei, who was a member of the UGCC. They were looking for a secretary and he had spotted a talented activist young man who was hanging out with radicals like Padmore etc. 2. After Paa Grant etc had spent time and money on him, he used their platform to start propagating his own views and NOT that of his employers.. THAT IS BETRAYAL and I am sure any company or political party WILL FIRE SUCH A TRAITOR.. so just because the story probably ended 'happily'..as in achieving independence..DOES NOT MEAN THAT the method used cannot be criticized by those who felt swindled..If he came back on hi OWN ticket, created hi OWN PARTY and competed fairly to win..then he would have been vindicated..
