James i am with you 100%,the cover up in Ghana is scary,people feel to big to accept wrong doing.This big men and women are too concerned about their dignity that,they would do whatever it takes to protect their dignity.Recent example of Sir John,this man did everything possible as far as consulting the National Peace Council and religious leader to plead on his behalf.My question is,who pleads for the poor and unconnected?In Ghana,these big men commit serious crimes such as forcing their teenage girl friends to commit abortion,which ends up with lost of life,they are tax evasive,illegal ownership of state properties,over invoicing and serious fraud dealing like money laundering.Yet these men are walking the streets and imposing because most of us are silly,we refuse to use our brains to collectively challenge these criminals to face justice,we actually idolize and worship them.We refuse to stand on our own feet,we sit on our hands only make these criminals feel big and important,they are not.

I am not sure whether Abraham Lincoln wrote down his famous Gettysburg Address before delivery but it was very short and precise and it is still quoted profusely today.

I don't know why it should become a big issue for so many weeks when a minister discovered she didn't have the appropriate written down speech, gave a small reaction and decided to say what she had written down off head.Late President Mills did not read his written speeces, he said what had been written down from memory because he knew what he wanted to say on the occasions and it was acceptable
Lets find something more useful to occupy time with other than this useless issue of calling a minister to resign because she indicated that she had a wrong speech and would speak from memory. What type of crime is that in Ghanaian law for which reason a minister must resign her position? What could she had done in the circumstance when she discovered unexpectedly that she had the wrong script? Any human being could have done the same thing, it is just reflex action. Besides, it doesn't deduct anything from her intelligence. Let's leave this lady alone to do her work. Let's get busy.

She's the Deputy Min. of COMMUNICATION, emphasis on COMMUNICATION, think about what you wrote and tell me if she couldn't have her speech on a tablet, edited and ready ready for delivery, didn't she have time to go over her speech before going up to the podium??
The issue you selectively forgot to address is her tardiness, they live in a culture of disregard for time. You're talking about a person who was LATE to her swearing-in ceremony, the president had to swear her in separately.
Yes!! she's human but a little bit of organizing herself is all it takes to avoid all these ridiculous embarrassments.
The problem with people like you (James)is that you want to justify mediocrity and find other blunders to compare and equate to make your illogical point. It takes organized, professional people paying adequate attention to details to run a country towards development.
