Your article is interesting reading. It is unfortunate that the average Ghanaian leaders prefers to take decisions on with any substantiation with hard facts but rather on their flawed and immature subjective viewpoints.
The allegiance arguments against Ghanaian dual citizens is crass and indefensible.
Most Ghanaians in the diaspora are more patriotic and hold Ghana in high esteem that those who have never step outside Ghana.
The diasporan Ghanaians are rather law abiding, les corrupt and are willing to obey laws and rule of law than those who have lived all their lives in Ghana.
Those who haven't travelled are those who have less allegiance to Ghana and are rather damaging the economy of Ghana with their corrupt mentalities and attitudes.
The diasporans bring different viewpoints and fertile ideas to develop the country. The issue of dual citizenship need to be seriously debated and dealt with once and for all.
