There he goes again. The self-same Okoampah, the Professor who is not able to put issues in their proper perspective. Never has the Honourable Segbefia rubbished the attempt by the think- tank IEA to discuss reforms within the political system in Ghana. What Okoampah should note is that in situations like this, timing is very important. I support the Hon. Segbefia when he says it will be contemptuous for the IEA and the Political Parties to be holding any forum to discuss matters some of which are before the Supreme Court in the matter of the contest over election results of 2012. It takes a sharp thinker like Segbefia and my goodself to note and to propose that yes, electoral reforms we will surely discuss, but let us for now give respect to the Supreme Court of Ghana to bring this matter to a close, and then civil society, including the many political parties can debate the issues of reforms within our political systems. Who knows? The Supreme Court may even recommend some issues about electora reforms, then Hurray! It behoves all of us to be be circumspect in all we do and say. So, Prof Okoampah....FESTINA LENTE ......
