Rwuanda, a nation that went thru a genocide some 15 years ago now has some pragmatic and innovative policies down that is working on the ground to a point where it makes Ghana looks like a country with brainless ppl.
One of the boldest step taken is getting rid of their colonial past by adopting English as a second language, and brought in Tanzanians and Kenyans to teach the kids. This kids will grow up speaking english but have no affiliation to England, (just as the Chinese) or the burden of psychological garbage that we Ghanaians toil under. And with guidance, we can call that generation the "Golden Generation".
Ghana needs a paradigm shift. ( psychologically, we're waste land)
Another country that Ghana with our foolish pride should learn from is Ethiopia, this country has no gold nor oil but coffee and a brain power, some smart negotiating skills ( their coffee is trademarked) and with no colonial baggage.
They don't wait for no colonial power to nurse them. They play the mind game with each country on equal terms even when nature is up against them. Today, they're among the fastest growing nations in Africa with substance. How are they doing it? What makes them more men than us to have the leading national airline, and in two years, the largest hydro electric dam in Africa?
Can we put down our empty pride and learn a thing or two from them?

Is the government selling the tyre factory to Ghanaians or to the highest bidder and what happens to Ghanaians without the Capital to own this piece of real estate?
