You'er just one of the NPP Ashanti/Akyem die hard supporters. So you don't even know the reason why these people are demonstrating but feel it was normal to demonstrate just to tarnish the image of the President of the Republic of Ghana.
That your perceived Nana Addo will never be the President of Kwame Nkrumah Ghana and you can take that to the World Bank.
The Pepeni President Dramani Mahama will rule The Republic Of Ghana for 8 and 1/2 years before he leaves the scene so, brace yourself to live with it or leave the country, finally if you can't stand Pepeni ruling you the sea is at Labadi go and burn it.
I can't understand this foolish pride you people keep bragging about. Most of your boys are on the streets of every city shining shoes and most of your ladies are at Abidjan, Lome and Lagos swallowing any man who has money in his pocket. What are you boasting of? Tell us.
If you talk of Kayayee, they work with their strength with dignity because they don't have a skill but they don't sell their bodies.

Just about a weeek ago,we heard about a similar bizarre statement from one of them;and today just imagine the references this funny guy,Ohene Asare, is also making in relation to the British: "When the storm was over, Counsel for the Petitioners calmly stood up and resumed cross examination of the Electoral Commissioner with such great aplomb and accomplishment that will make even the English Bar envious". Really, and how can we move forward as a nation with characters like these? Imagine Ohene Asare`s reference point - the "English Bar",neglecting to point out that no Englih Barrister worth his or her salt, would dare to champion such a 'useless' case or petition before the House of Lords(the Law Lords)! I think it is about time some of these NPP supporters and sympathizers braodened their horizon a little bit,and quit trying to convince us that every 'good' thing comes from Britain. Many of us have actually outgrown that mindset!

Surely you cannot put the rampant, apparently deliberate and systematic fire outbreaks up and down the country down to just mere coincidences? and surely whoever is (*are) behind these fires have a clear agenda: to cause chaos and havoc, and thus put the president and his government in a bad light.
What s so difficult for you to understand in this? Now, if you say that buy his "opponents" the president is insinuating that the NPP is behind the fires, by all means think that way but you are wrong. "Opponents" are not ONLY party political but can be detractors who are taking advantage of the current political impasse to their own advantage, knowing that the full attention of security agencies might lie elsewhere.
People of little minds like you would jump to such simple conclusions as to seek to condemn the president and his presidency.
I have bad news for you: 'The presidency does not need redemption' and will thrive with the help of right thinking and patriotic Ghanaians, minus you, who seem to think that it is ONLY you who can run the country well and successfully. Sadly if the stewardship of the country in the last 8 years is anything to go by, you are plainly mistaken about your (or your party's) ability to make this country more successful.
What we should all be doing is working with the president to get to the bottom of these arsonists and bring them to book, plus work together to improve Ghana rather than sitting on the fence and spewing garbage. Talk is indeed cheap, but just because you can use the media to say anything, you should learn to say what is helpful to the country and not what is conveniently pleasing to you at a time of national need!!! And you call yourself "patriotic" You give the word a bad name indeed!

It is about reasoning and about exposing the hypocrisy that we see in politics. On the one hand, some people want the country to become "ungovernable" for their own selfish political expediency. On the other hand, they turn round and condemn the president for being "incompetent" and as you put it, "out of his depths".
So, you wish the current state of fires and other acts of lawlessness and criminal acts being perpetrated by a minority to continue?
What is wrong with working together to achieve a better outcome for the country? What is wrong with my analysis? The author if they didn't have a little mind would have been balanced in their analysis of what is happening and honest in their assessment which they were not hence my characterisation.
I'm afraid i stand by it because the author has not demonstrated the level of honesty one would expect at this level. Unless you wish this to be a 'gutter journalism hub' in which case some of us would simply move elsewhere to debate serious issues.

So you wish the fires to keep burning and detractors to continue to undermine the efforts of government? Which Ghana would you like to see? A peaceful one in which all citizens (including market traders) feel comfortable to go about their business or one that is full of chaos and makes some politicians happy? I know which side Christ would be, and it is not everything that one preaches that people wish to hear.
Perhaps you are one of those congregants who want to be told they are doing just fine, and who don't want their sins to be hammered on during the sermon. Right?
