Sciene is alright but those behind that science and what they use them for is the problem.
The heart of human who do not know christ Jesus very well causes things that should not happen in human relationships.
A dark hearted person be it president, military, doctor, pastor or teacher will support wickedness in all forms. Even judges who wisdom comes from ethics, instead the fear of the Lord God is as obtuse as any professions.

ACADEMIC WORK IS A SERIOUS AREA ON ITS OWN. LECTURERS AND PROFESSORS ARE MEANT TO CRACK THEIR BRAINS AND MAKE RESEARCHES THAT GO INTO UNKNOWN AREAS. THIS WILL HELP DEVELOPING COUNTRIES BECOME LESS DEPENDENT ON OTHERS. YOU SHOULD JUST SEE GHANAIAN ACADEMICIANS MIAING A SIMPLE MOBILE PHONE WITHOUT THINKING HOW IT WAS MADE. OUR PROFESSORS ARE ILLITERATES. YOU CAN FEEL THIS CLEARLY SOMETIMES WHEN THEY SPEAK IN PUBLIC AND THE LANGUAGE THEY USE, COURTESY MICH OCQUAYE. BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THE CALIBRE OF,PARLIAMENTARIANS WE HAVE YOU UNDERSTAND WHY OTHERS WANT TO MOVE INTO POLITICS. OUR PARLIAMENTARIANS SOMETIMES SPEAK SUCH BAD ENGLISH LACED WITH LACK OF LOGIC AND COMMON SENSE. MANY ARE THERE AS IF THEIR JOB IS MERELY TO SHOUT YES OR NO OR WAVE PLACARDS. I AM SORRY AFRICA AND GHANA FOR THAT MATTER IS LIVING IN HUGE TRASH BOWLS

Academicians who entered into politics in Ghana performed abysmally, even far below Gen Acheampong's performance. You name them: Dr Busia, Dr Limann, Prof Atta Milk, Prof Ameyaw Akumfi, Dr Raymond Atuguba of the Jubilee Flag House fame and now Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman. The issue is that in the performance of their pedagogic functions a lot of these academicians in Ghana plagiarize and so they cannot think by themselves and the few ones who can think do so like the very children they teach. That is the reason why the intellectual realities of university education is missing in Ghana. this how far our useless university education has brought us.

You have done a good work.
You have unearthed most of the problems with these politicians but what are the solutions?
And I quote:
"..Meanwhile, when the health minister is sick, he catches the next available flight to Europe for his medical treatment; leaving the poor taxpayers to die in horrible hospitals in Kenya. Even in Ghana and Nigeria, when our MPs, the senators and the president are sick they all fly to Europe and America to seek medical treatment at ridiculously inflated prices while pregnant women lay on the bare floors in the collapsing local hospitals..."
What is the solution, and who will endorse it?
One suggestion to solve one of the problems:
'The run-away politicians.'
.Ghanaians should demand that a law is passed forbidding all these politicians and government functionaries, who run to overseas for medical treatments.
We should all be treated in the same hospitals in Ghana.
If this law is able to be passed, the Minister of Health will make sure that the hospitals in Ghana are well catered for, more equipped with efficient and well paid medical staff and effective medications/ drugs at the pharmacies.
Why?
..because he knows that, he would not be able to abandon the hospitals in Ghana and run away to overseas for treatment when he falls sick.
But the question is:
Will they pass such a Law?
'You buy a gun, and you hand it over to another person to shoot you'.
Life is not fair! Life is a cheat!
