A call for African unity is important but forget it, the black man cannot and was not meant to unite. God made it that way, there is something wrong with the Niggers mind, we need God almighty to overcome the deficiency of unity.
Until then lets forget it. Even the animosity here on Ghana web among small Ghana is enough evidence.
Thank You

Mercy nice hearing from you again after a long time. Anyway, charity they say begins at home. Why are we looking far and wide to trumpet solidarity while at our backyard some of our own leaders are asking for mayhem on its members. Nkrumah in times past tried to unite this nation but there were certain fascists or elements who sworn heaven and earth to distabilize the peace we have in the country. I am wondering how our transportation system you mentioned would have been now if those elements had not caused the coup d'etat on 24th of February, 1964. Have we learnt our lessons yet? Hell no as the same indigens are still giving births and formanting new diabolical plans of making sure that the peace we are craving for elude us.

How about this ? The NDC is made up of riff raffs who've always yearned for power but once that's achieved they leave a sour taste in every mouth and a trail of abuse and destruction. Look around you and you'll realize the NDC is full of people who just want instant gratification rather than earn the enduring rewards of hardwork.
Their deep seated envy sparks their fire and hatred fuels their pepertual flame. Equality and fairness do not exist in their dictionary.
Being lazy, they detest competition but can't keep their eyes off the trappings of success and wealth. They adore monopoly and control because they were first socialists and communists until they witnessed the demise of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Later as the socialist/communist waned in power and influence the term democrat was debased with socialist to coin the term social democrats,
The Danquah/Busia tradition espoused the free market economy as far back as the early 1950s but were ridiculed by the socialist/communist counterparts in parliament. Ghana did not adopt the free market economy until 1992. The state of the economy would have been far better than what it's today today if we had adopted it way back at the time of independence instead of 35 years later.
Kofi Awoonor, the 5 star general of Ewe hegemonism claims the sole purpose of the 1982 Rawlings coup was to replace what they call "Akan Hegemony" with an "Ewe" hegemony.Rawlings in 1992 publicly declared his avowed abhorrence for democracy, citing its restrictiveness as his reason.Come again ; Who is destructive and divisive? Unfortunately the hegemonists have gained collaborators and "mercenaries" from the other tribes who also want to reap where they have not sowed. When the Ewes and northerners left their homelands where did they head to? Akan lands because the Akans are very hospitable and industrious . My family lived harmoniously with an Ewe family for several years.I have friends from almost every region in Ghana but I belong to the great UP/Danquah/Busia/Dombo tradition. We have differences but to say the UP tradition is divisive and destructive is like giving a dog a bad name just to hang it.That may be your wish but it will never see the light of day.We will resist every attempt to treat us like strangers in our own country.Asante Kotoko Oh say yeah! Ye nim ko oh! Yennim dwane ooh. Asante Kotoko , wo kum apem a apem b3 ba!

Nkrumah wasted our resources in his singular pursuit of African unity. We should rather concentrate on developing our dilapidated infrastructure. No country will unite with a poor underdeveloped country.

Why and how can the entire continent of Africa unite? In Ghana, how united are we and upon that how can the president wade into the unity of Africa.
Nkrumah himself was power drunk thinking that he will head a United States of Africa something that did not materialize. In those days where he was selling his Unity ideas, how many nations were independent and how could those under the clutches of colonization, who do not understand what a united Africa will be, become part of it?
The best thing Nkrumah should have done was to develop his country, Ghana to the envy of all before selling his united Africa idea.
Also, for Ghana to move on, we should be truthful and uphold the rule of law. Sweeping truthful and the rule of law under the rug, will never see any nation progressing or developing. The Whites, who we are trying to copy, are truthful and they uphold the rule of law.

Your statement"Nkrumah himself was power drunk thinking that he will head a United States of Africa" is false.Have you ever thought about the advantages of United Africa? Why do you think the Europeans stole Nkrumah's idea and formed the EUROPEAN UNION many years after the Whiteman had prevented him from achieving his goal? Nkrumah suggested in one of his speeches that either Bangui in the Central African Republic or Leopldville in the Congo should be the capital of United Africa. Why not Accra if he was bent on becoming the head of United Africa.Do some research by reading Nkrumah's speeches and books and you will agree with me that Africa's man of the millineum lived ahead of his time.
