Nana,
I do share in your concerns that, the auditors should have counted the available boxes before starting the so called audit. since they are aware of the existence of allegation of fraud. The fact that, they are not charging anything should not exonerate them from a charge of negligence of their duty.

So called Nana Akyea Mensah, your claim to love the peace of Ghana is questionable by your comments. KPMG was only telling the truth. Your legal luminary claimed the inventory of the boxes was taken with KPMG in attendance. KPMG representative was denying that claim from your so called legal expert. Admitted they should have counted the boxes first before going to the Pink Sheets,if you love peace then condemn the action of the NDC representative who counted the boxes and claimed the counting was in connection with KPMG. We all love the peace of Ghana.

Kind of late now ,isn't lt?I believe I read somewhere that the parties did ascertain the number of boxes to be 24 before the brouhaha started.

The funny thing about the whole thing was that, the representative of KPMG did not actually deny that there was counting by the representatives of the parties, but said that would have been unofficial and not part of their mandate.Very irresponsible statement to make on an important assignment of this kind. They are indeed a disappointment.

I realize KPMG was up to dangerous mischief even before they started when they announced they won't charge a thing for the audit. That occurred after Sir John appealed to them not to charge dime because NPP was broke. At that point I said this whole exercise will compound the problem. Lo and behold I have been proven right. How do you start an audit or a recount without knowing the work to be done vis a vis the number of boxes to be counted? As a company, what made them not to size up the volume of workload before they started working. I mean is this a company?
