Damn, I was left very puzzled, wondering whose selfless and selfish forefathers died in vain, smiling and thinking they had sacrificed for us? Mine didn't die that way in the '50s!

Indeed, they helped to build the present Ghana from scratch, raising it to the high pedestal it enjoyed to the eve of independence. They died with much satisfaction that they had accomplished a sterling task.
