    Great reading there.We the chosen people of Ghana have such a rich and varied history and our near hegemony is not by accident.It has deep roots.

    its amazing to know that with all the acclaimed might of the asantes, it took a hand full of british to defeat them. what a shame. history tells us the gas won the battle of akatamanso.

    Really, the Sagrenti War could have gone either way had the imperialists not bring in Hausa soldiers from Northern Nigeria to team up with the coastal tribes.

    The Adu Bofo episode was in the late 1860s to early 1870s. It was his incursion into the Ewedome areas that triggered the Sagrenti War.

    Indeed, he could have done better with the English. Too bad, with too many elementary grammatical mistakes.

    It is clear the writer is not a trained historian but just a history buff. That affected his presentation a lot.
