They accuse us of tribalism but themselves are pursuing agandas of divide and rule so as to dominate the majority. whenever Akans dare to point out injustices or notice the hegemony , chauvinism and tribalism of the northerners and ewes they immediately organize a media propaganda lynch. they try to brainwash our children not to recognize the reality, in fact there are second generation living in Accra especially fantis whose children dont even speak fanti or even know where cape coast and sekondi are.even in America where the concept of the melting pot is so well developed know the difference between the irish , italian , german etc heritage and back ground yet our media and govt try to brainwash our people into thinking its an undesirable phenomenon to know who you are talk less of your heritage even though these things are guaranteed in the positive laws and UN conventions . He who can not appreciate , respect and recognize his own can never understand another talk less of uphold the rights of others. today some ex convict tsetse-cat lawyer of an ayigbe idiot whose father knowing how destructive he was and never loved him named him after a fly that causes sleeping sickness hoping to put all of us to sleep. these fools would mislead all others so that their people can profit steal and loot undercover. so now out political so called elite are infested by sociopaths , psychopaths and racists whose only desire is to dominate and use others in their extremely manipulative ideologies which can never bring progress or development yet they choose to call the kettle black?

The NDC hierachy seek power by any means possible not because they have a bold economic plan that would transform Ghana into a huge african success story but for their own selfish interests.Adreba Kwaku Abrefa Damoa has done this great piece that helps to elucidate this matter.
Thanks to a snippet from a book by novelist Kofi Awoonor we're now privy to information relating to the true purpose of the December 1982 coup d'etat by Rawlings that led to the overthrow of the 2year old Liman administration and heralded the formation of the blustering and blundering PNDC.It was the replacement of what its malevolent schemers termed as the 'Akan hegemony' with a new 'Ewe hegemony'.
Hitherto, the term was relatively unknown to the general populace but it has been worth our while to allow them to steadily unfold their diabolic plan.According to Wikipedia when a hegemon exercises leadership , either through diplomacy, coercion,or persuasion it's actually deploying its "preponderance of power". This is called hegemony which refers to a state's, in this case, a tribe's ability to single-handedly dominate the rules and arrangements.
This change from Akan to Ewe hegemony has been going on since 1982 but it's more discernible today than when it started. Today tribal elements within the NDC have been corraled to churn out vitriol and anti Akan propaganda in the NDC controlled media. Especially vicious and perverse is the crescendoing cacophony of asante and akyem bashing in the social media.
The author of the feature article is right in his assertion that the NDC are only interested in power, not in governance. Their flagrant boldness and conspiracy to change a non-existent Akan hegemony to Ewe hegemony is a classic example of their power grab mentality.

You are quite right in saying the NDC is interested in power but don't you think the NPP is exactly the same? If not, why are they in court challenging the presidential poll? As to whether they are interested in governance, that is an issue I would rather not comment on in this brief rebuttal.
Why do you choose to condemn only one party when both main parties are almost indistinguishable when it comes to their greed and thirst for power?
Whilst we are at it, is it not also true that when either party is in power, they favour their party functionaries and sympathisers to the exclusion of others? And don't they appoint their own people some of whom are not fit to run even a family business?
If you want to call a spade a spade, I will fully support you and argue alongside you but what I like many true meaning and non-partisan Ghanaians detest is this "holier than thou" attitude taken by supporters of both NDC and NPP in your discourse!!!
You belittle your intellectual capacity and standing when you write like that. Frankly it is a disgraced and the more you do that the lower my estimation of people like you. You better grow up and stop this myopic approach to commentary on state affairs if you want to be taken seriously!

Calling a spade a spade means addressing the truth even when it hurts. There is no wrong with being NDC or NPP one cannot paint a truth into an untruth when the writing is on the wall. The elections were rigged and clearly the rigging favoured the NDC. People forget the fact that rigging an election is not merely a simplistic argument of denting Nana Addo's dream of becoming President. It is about the fact that people who favoured the NPP were short-changed. The Electoral Commission appear to be culpable of complicity in this drama and failed to convince everyone that they conducted a credible election. This should be the concern of all well meaning Ghanaians whether NPP or NDC. Surprisingly some think differently yet the court case has proved that NDC are scared of their shadow as their legal team try hard to prise open and dent the key witness of the complainants. I would expect the NDC legal team to produce a more credible defence of the election than bringing in thousands of witnesses to delay the process. Do you not smell a rat here? Does it bother you that in an election some people would rather subotage the Universal Adult Suffrage process of one man one vote? Look atthe quality of the Government team and tell me whether Ghanaians deserve the low quality being foisted on us? Think my friend, think, it is not just a simple case of Nana Addo wanting to be President. It is about the need for us to secure our electoral process and rid it of corrupt practices so that in the future we can select deserving leaders.

The President is struggling to bring normalcy to the Power problem and the myriad of challenges he is facing. To date he has not as yet articulated a clear vision for the country. The direction of his Government is very confusing. Nana Addo sent a clear message on his desire to provide free Education. Mahama pooh poohed the Free Education Mantra but as yet has not given any indication on what his focus on Education is. Where are we heading? We need an articulate vision. In the NDC mediocrity reigns supreme in every sphere of governance. NHIS is breaking down and clearly there is no indication of a national strategy to redeem Ghana. This is the NDC story! A few blockheads will throw trash in these pages but they have no understanding of the marketing mantra that a Product is known well by its following. NDC must learn to deliver. Let me give you a simple example. Kufour in the first half of his Presidency set a clear strategy and HIPC was born. Forget the politics of it what this demonstrated was purpose and direction and to be honest Mahama has failed to match Kufour's creative thinking.
