Isn't that statement an understatement and a recipe of intellectual fraud and disaster?? Why are the NPP in court at all?? Is it for the improvement of the Ghanaian democracy or with the possibility of showing evidence to annul over 4 million votes in favour of the NPP???
For those who care to know, Tsatsu has been primus inter pares!!! He is a very intelligent and a very humble personality. How are these laurels going to disprove that there were no double counting of votes? The truth is in the evidence but not the historical achievements of any individuals. So far nothing has been disproved by Tsikata to convince me otherwise, else he will not be demanding the pinksheet tally at the tail end of his cross examination. This sounds like a drowing man trying to catch a straw to me. Whether it is 11,800 or 5,000 pinksheets, it's what inside that counts. This is a number game and the proof is in the pudding.

The issue of pinksheet counting came earlier in the trial but the NPP insisted that it should be done in addition to counting the votes.Now Atuguba has found a way to count just the sheets at the cost of $100,000. That can raise at least 100000000 guinea fowls. Atuguba is trying to help NDC and Mahama in a very bad case. A revolution awaits Ghana if this case ends in vain. A word to the wise is enough!

Why would a forensic audit not be in the interest of the entire Nation? Are we in Court to pander to the whimsical interests of the petitioner and sweep the truth under the carpet by an expedited trial?
For a petitioner who wants to be declared president on the annulment of votes which do not include votes from the Asokwa polling station he should not com[plain about an audit of his submission. A petitioner who you claim on his behalf did not have time to look at all the pink sheets and yet had all the time in the world to make multiple copies of ones that favored his opponent.
We are dealing with dubious and vexatious petitioners motivated by BAD FAITH. If anything at all the court has been lenient and accommodated their frivolous and half baked petition. A reputable court would have thrown out their petition even on the revelation of the Asokwa pink sheet alone on account of the petitioner's duplicitous intentions.
Addision also said," If Counsel has no questions for the witness he should sit down' It for the the Counsel to advise the Judge when he has completed his cross examination. It is not for the opposite counsel to rise up in court like a bear and cast evil eyes across the bench as if he is engaged in a personal duel with his opposite number.
The count is vital and will expose the fraud on the NPPs part.

Sometimes some of you either due to political blindness or stupidity says things that makes one wonder whether you have brains in your craniums or caked cement.
What will compel the petitioners to bring more than one thousand pink sheets from polling stations the Petitioners won but will hide one pink sheet. There is no law that says the petitioners should go through all the 26000 plus polling stations or the court would have thrown their petition out when they told the court that they found irregularities in over 11000 pink sheets after going through 24000 polling stations out of the 26000 plus polling stations? Why didn't Tsatsu ask the court to throw the petitioners case out when he showed the Asokwa pink sheet? I will tell you why. The court would have laughed him out of court. They would have asked him to show that the petitioners came across that pink sheet and decided to hide it why they have brought more than thousand pink sheets like the Asokwa one. The court is not as stupid like some of you. They can deduce that if Tsatsu has one or hundred pink sheets like the Asokwa one, it could have come from the over 2000 pink sheets the Petitioners didn't go through due to time factor or they decided not to waste their time and money after finding enough evidence to prove their case.
Now talk about coming to equity with dirty hands. Was it not the same Tsatsu and his bunch of idiotic lawyers that drummed into our heads that there were no evidence of over voting? Now they are showing their own pink sheets showing over voting, what a Laval luminary Tsatsu is. In soccer we calk that an own goal.

These irregularities that you claim to be so massive and should lead to the election being rendered null and void is what the Court is adjudicating upon. A forensic audit and examination of the evidence is what is required and not a hurried trial to gloss over the evidence. Different lawyers have different persuasive skills.
You claim Tsatsu is boring and hopeless but yet he was able to persuade the court that the audit was necessary in view of the questionable credibility of the witness who at times claims to have been in sole charge of putting together the evidence and at times blames the Commissioner of Oaths and members of his team. What you call caving in is persuasive argument. The NPP legal team have not issued a statement opposing the audit, have they?

I am sure some pinksheets have been stolen behind the scene from the custody of the Supreme Court by the respondents and that's why Tsikata is demanding a count at this stage of his cross examination. Mahama and NDC have access to all the 26,000 pinksheets in the custody of the EC, and they should be able to sift through them to support their case.

The first day when Mr. Tony Lithur was cross examining Dr. Bawumiah I heard Tsatsu sarcastically remarked that the petitioners lawyers should stick to "high ethical standard of the profession". Another time he used the word that they will see "who is mathematically challenged" referring to Dr. Bawumiah but a Class one pupil watching this election petition can attest to the fact Dr. Bawumiah is not only mathematical WIZARD but a genius, as Tsatsu himself admitted once in his cross examination of Dr. Bawumiah before the Judges that the witness has succeeded in CONFUSING him.Credit must be given where and when it is due even if it is coming from your enemy. It's important for Justice Atuguba to ensure that both NDC and NPP Lawyers comply with the standard procedure and conduct of the court. Also, in making his remarks, observations and decisions, he must act with absolute fairness.
Personally, I could only imagine the reaction of Justice Atuguba in his intervention, if Lawyer Addison had done that 'shut up' outburst to Mr Tsikata. Perceptively, given the demeanour and some of the remarks of Justice Atuguba, either he has 'too much respect' for Mr Tsikata or there seems to be obvious 'political intimacy' between the two. It remains to be seen how this is going to end.
