What he said was that NDC guys were put on trial on a public holiday which contravenes the constitution because per our constitution, courts are not supposed to sit on public holidays. NDC embraces SC revocation of hearings on holidays
The legal team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the party feels vindicated by the Supreme Court decision that revoked the power of the country’s courts to sit on public holidays.
The team says many party activists have in the past been victims of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s manipulation of the court’s power.
Citing a couple of instances in the 2008 elections to back its case, Nana Ato Dadzie, a leading member of the NDC legal team said on a public holiday in 2008, the NPP, led by Lawyer Atta Akyea went to court to try and overturn the declaration of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills as president.
Again, he recalled on another public holiday in December, some two NDC members were arrested - an action they firmly believed was unconstitutional.

Jutice Sarpong has finally showed his lack of understanding of laws and or simple English; I will not blame him because he is only versed in US English from Houston and not British English.
Justice Sarpong should not travel far from his Houston domicile to read and understand laws and statutes governing the state of Texas where one would also find Houston. Texas being a dry state means the sale of alcohol are barred on some days and or after certain hours on some days. Does that mean people cannot drink alcohol at anytime on those days and or during those hours of the day the sale of alcohol is prohibited? The answer to both questions is no; people can drink but stores licensed to sell alcohol cannot sell alcohol even if they are opened and do sell other merchandise.
Just because a government agency is mandated not to be operating or have their doors open to the public does not mean security agencies should be closed on those days. The law cited affected the Courts and not all branches of government. We have come to know that people who are schooled are not always intellectually capable of understanding neither are they usually wise. Justice Sarpong shows himself to be a danger to Ghana for spewing such nonsense or lack understanding of Justice even if his name is a pretentious Justice.

Is your name not Abeeku? I expect you dumb comedian to talk stupidities as you have crapped here. Who told you idiot that the state of Texas is a dry state? Where did you fool study law and even your analogy comparing your wrongly perceived dry state does not even address the stupidly of Dadzie. The whole state does not have any law forbidden the sale of alcohol. What we have is that, some cities like Arlington have ordinances, read again the word I used here, ORDINANCE not LAW because no city in USA can pass a law but can have a city ordinance . The ordinance does not forbid the sale of alcohol as you stupidly stated. There is no city in USA where you cannot sell alcohol. Stop inserting your comedian self in issues you have little knowledge of.
The ordinances in those cities does not forbid sale of alcohol but rather it forbids the establishment of alcoholic stores like BIG DADDY'S and others but one can buy alcoholic drinks at the 7-11, Grocery stores like Kroger's and many other establishments.
What has that even to do with Dadzie saying the arrest of the Ndc functionaries who were arrested for committing a crime is unconstitutional because it was a public holiday? Is there any law in Ghana that forbids the Police from arresting people on public holiday? I can tell you there is no such law because we all read of the arrest of people at Kwahu during the Easter holidays for committing various crimes.
Now let me school you about basic USA law. You live in USA at the state of Minnesota. The only entities that can pass laws is the Federal and state governments so for you to say that the state Texas has a law barring the sale of alcohol on certain days and hours should not be made by an idiot like you with all your so called education cleaning buildings for Osseeo school district. There is no city in Texas that bars the sale of alcohol, rather some cities have ordinances that bars the establishment of alcoholic stores but one can buy beer, wines and other alcoholic beverages from grocery stores, Convenience stores and other establishments.
You have shown that you lack education of the laws of the country you live in. Abeeku, we are not here for comedies but here to discuss serious issues with people who have their faculties intact not fools who live on comedic stupidities like yourself. Scuttle off with your illiteracy.
