For example, don't you find it odd that in October 2007, the then acting administrative secretary couldn't give Akufo-Addo, these extracts but, rather, a NOTE?
So the question is: Where were these extracts when the NOTE was issued?
Why are you educated ones so corrupt and disgusting?

Please leave Nana alone. We all procrastinate sometimes. The guy just felt lazy to request for duplicates or certified copies to tender as proof. Plus what would you do if you had your dad as the Chief Justice at the time? How dare you question Nana's integrity or the validity of his law certification? I will perhaps forgive you if you didn't know that he was the son of THE Chief Justice of Ghana's highest court at the time. Such was the Ghanaian way of life during those days. Nowadays small boys can say anything in the name of democracy.

You people claimed you either didn't understand the testimonials submitted or that they were fake. The man goes for certified extracts and you're questioning why he didn't stick to the original testimonials? So, exactly what do you want to achieve: to make certain about the truth whether or not Nana Addo is indeed a lawyer, or just to embarrass the man? Obviously, you are not looking for the truth. In fact, you have said before that you know Nana Addo is a lawyer. You're just trying to find something to embarrass the man. I'm not surprised people think you have personal/tribal hatred for the man, and their claims appear to be given credence by the fact that Kpegah sends you copies of the affidavits served on him to you.

Bro. Yaw, you aren't making much sense. Or, maybe I fail to understand the point you're making. But here are the facts of the matter.
In 2007, the man reported the loss of his certificates to the GLC. The latter issued him a testimonial note. Upon recently being sued on his professional qualifications by Kpegah, who may have gotten wind of Nana Addo's lost certificates and tried to take advantage of the situation, Nana Addo responded with an affidavit and attached the testimonial notes he received from GLC and Middle Temple. Since then Kpegah and his assigns have mounted a loud propaganda campaign trying to discredit the authenticity of the testimonial notes. Now, since Nana Addo is not estopped from amending his affidavit or submitting more documents, he further requests and submits extracts of the Roll of Lawyers in his qualifying years, which extracts also bear his signatures and those of very well-known authorities.
It's OK for Bokor to call for forensic investigation of the handwriting on the extracts. No problem with that. In fact, I'd suggest adding Nana's own signatures in order to determine whether there is any match. But questioning why Nana Addo should provide supplementary evidence, while at the same time claiming he has a right to do so, clearly shows that Bokor is concerned less with Nana Addo's actual qualifications than with an opportunity to embarrass the man.
Whether or not Nana Addo should have submitted all his evidence together is completely immaterial. For one thing, the case hasn't even started yet. For another, even the hearing of the case had started, Nana wouldn't be estopped from amending or supplementing his original responses. For this reason, I don't understand what is Bokor's beef. In any case, has Bokor himself not been claiming Nana has to produce better evidence to sound convincing? By the way, is it also not surprising that as soon as Kpegah is served with documents, copies find their way to Bokor, who rushes to the media with his own bias analysis without the public seeing the documents he is commenting on? Is it why some people are claiming there is an underlying Ewe hatred against Akans? I sincerely hope this suspicion is not only unfounded but also wrong. But sometimes very educated people, both Akans and Ewes, can be guilty of tribal hatred and bigotry. If you have read the work of Kofi Awoonor, no doubt a brilliant writer, you'd know what I'm talking about. But our view of a particular tribe cannot be based on the bigotry of one or two people. Some of my best lecturers and classmates were Ewes, and by "best" I mean both in terms of social relations.

PK, you lost me on this tribal thing. Why should any intelligent being think that the on-going debate on this case has tribal connotation just because the plaintiff in the case, namely, Justice Kpegah is an Ewe and writers like Bokors are also Ewes.
I hate to state here that we are in deep shit as a nation because almost invariably such national issues are consumed by tribal bantering. This always allow criminals and wrong doers to get away with their criminal and civil infractions. We all know the emotional connotations of such tribal talk and how people are easily carrried away by such reckless sentiments.
In short, I will say that it is totally irresponsible for any intelligent being to inject tribalism into this case. Absolutely irresponsible and reckless.
Be that as it may, I find your submission on Akufo-Addo's supplement affidavit totally untenable. I took a keen interest in your educative conversation with one STEVO last week. If you would recall STEVO kept saying that if he were Akufo-Addo, he would have provided the most basic information to cement the credibility of his defence and that he should wait to be pin to the wall before coming up with the material evidence. Interestingly, Akufo-Addo has taken part of STEVO's suggestion. Hence this supplementary affidavit.
If I were I Akufo-Addo, I will heed STEVO's advice and gather all the evidence to prove man case instead of filing these supplementary affidavits in piecemeals. For example, what is stopping Akufo-Addo from going to the Judiciary Secretary to get copies of the authenticated copies of his qualifying and enrolment certificate. And proceed further to the Ghana School of Law to get copies of his transcripts and collect affidavits from some of his former classmates and lecturers to deal a final blow to Justice Kpegah's case?
This commonsensical and legal savvy way of proving one case instead of being embarrassed in public like this.
What is so difficult about this OR Akufo Addo and his lawyers don't know how to confront this case?
I wish you well in your response.

Massa, you've clearly misrepresented the facts of my conversation with STEVO. Indeed, I was the one who said if I were Nana Addo, I would present only the basic evidence and go to court with further evidence later. In contrast, STEVO was insisting that Nana Addo not only make all his evidence available but also publish same publicly, arguing further that the public has a right to see all his certificates since he seeks to lead the country. You therefore cannot be right that Nana Addo's lawyers have followed STEVO's advice.
However, I agree with you on the complete ridiculousness of introducing tribal sentiments into national debates. The question I was asking was whether Bokor's constant prevarication on this matter explains suspicions of tribal motives. Even so, I went on to say that I hope this suspicion is unfounded and wrong. In fact, while suggesting that there are intelligent people who are guilty tribal bigotry, no one should use the behaviour of one or two people to judge an entire tribe. Please, re-read what I said because I'm on the same page with you on the tribe thing!

PK, Why do you think that Akufo-Addo has started filing supplementary affidavits in support of his case? He is doing this because he has seen and found loopholes in his defence to Justice Kpegah's suit. And this is in direct response to STEVO's suggestion that he gets hold of all the official documents now in possession of institutions like the General Legal Council, the Ghana School of Law and, of course, the Judicial Secretary. What is so hard about this task or exercise that when done will surely nail the coffin of Justice Kpegah's case?
And you know what? STEVO's suggestions offer the best defence for Akufo-Addo unless he is desperately trying to hide something from the court and the public.
Why should this simple issue of whether you are a lawyer occupy such time and space?

That is exactly the point STEVO was hammering home but, for which you were so blind to. Trust me,Akufo-Addo can't hide behind "technicalities" to avoid scrutiny.

Quote “In short, I will say that it is totally irresponsible for any intelligent being to inject tribalism into this case. Those like me who, based on facts on the ground in Ghana and elsewhere, tell Justice Kpegah, Bokor and all those supporting them, the implications of their actions or Justice Kpegah, Bokor and their supporters who know the facts but refused to accept them or even answer question put to them in comments on Bokor`s article? Yaw Sam, is what is good for AKufo Addo not good for Bokor? Yaw Sam does being a responsible intelligent person mean one should accept the tribal criminalization of herself or himself? What is criminal about using a name giving to me by my parents or my tradition which is / are not on my Certificates?
I will quote here my comment on Bokor`s article on Ghanaweb on last Sunday, April 20, 2013, titled “Why is “William” not good for “Nana” Akufo Addo which has till today not a single comment Bokor, Justice Kpegah or any of their supporters.
Quote "Dr Bokor is it tribal hatred, jerousy, bigotry or academic stupidity that made you and Justice Kpegah to embark on using the law to criminalize more than 90% of all Ghanaian literates of Akan origin? You, Justice Kpegah and all those who for the reasons known to them supporting the tribal stupid and insane Justice Kpegah’s suit know very well that almost all literate Akans (including the Justices some of whom were Kpegah`s mates and colleagues in Ghana are known and called at home by the so called home names ie Kwasi, Kwadwo, Kwabena, Kwaku, Yaw, Kofi, Kwame, Akosua, Adwowa, Abena, Akua, Yaa, Afuah, Amma, the socalled day names and nana, maame etc depending on whom one is named after. These names unlike the artificial European names imposed on Ghanaians including you as Christian names have no place in our school register and later on our certificates. For you fools I am a criminal, guilty of impersonation because I am known and called Stephen Gyamerah in Germany where I studied and worked. I am known and called Yaw Boamah in my district of origin in Ghana and called Boamah by all who know me from my secondary School days. Are you people not insulting and criminalizing the great Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah of being guilty of impersonation because he preferred Kwame to Francis? The earlier you stop your stupidity the better for Ghana does not belong to you the triballist."

Anlos or Ewes of Volta Region are an irritating bunch of filth. They have an agenda to undo years of work of the country's achievers, but you won't succeed, nyebrodom! All your ill pursuit of good people will rather expose you as a bitter, snivelling, interfering, evil, mischievous tribe that only came to Ghana after the dust has settled!
The idea that the Law School was controlled by some people who did not allow ewes or anlos in, has been bandied about by these malicious minded ewes and anlos, supported by the neo intelligentsia from the North. Therefore these P/NDCs led by the Tsikatas and supported by the corrupt greedy bastards from Asankragwa have taken over GIMPA to produce their own Lawyers to challenge the status quo, as they claim: But we know it’s an easy selfish option…
It’s an opportunity to create easy avenues for their people to progress. These cheats always have a reason for their social engineering. They never stop taking a whole country's resources for themselves at the back of redressing the past. Ewes and Anlos, and now these Mossi Dagomba Nanumbas must be closely watched by other tribal groupings. They take all the opportunities and deny our people, whiles ruining reputation of our leaders. We must be careful. It’s the same reason Mahama sent so many of his Northerner people to train as doctors with no Akans. We must be very careful to stop these nyebros with sole agenda to deny our children same opportunities they create for themselves.
On this Akuffo Addo case, it’s simple. Certificate or not, its records that makes such authentication valid. You can go round and round a subject but facts are sacred. We shall soon see the bitter truth in Court. Indeed, Nana/William Akuffo Addo needs prayers because he is dealing with some of the most hardened, evil tribal group who even kill pregnant High Court Judge for her Judgment against their folks. Kpegah, Kojo Tsikata, Bokor and such people wake up in the morning thinking about who to destroy than how their people can do well. Their minds are for destruction than progress of mankind, and it’s satanic!
The Vettings, Investigations, Tribunals, Confiscation of properties and other such atrocities committed against Ghanaians by these Nyebros took us nowhere; but not this time. It’s a ground hog day as a tribal grouping returns to what they know best - Pull Him Down; whiles their hamlets remain in the same primitive state. Nyebros must use their god given wisdom for their own development and save us the peace we crave for in a country with so many problems.
Beware of Nyebroism...Ewes and Anlos must use their education or so-called intelligence to help their poor people: Wherever you see a Ewe Village across the country, it's in the same backward state. Poverty, dereliction, disease, squalor, totemic, primitiveness, filth and more filth in their hamlets fit for animals than human beings...and yet the focus of their scholars is on others.
Change, ewes! Hatred has not done much for you. Ewes/Anlos/Nyebros are after the qualification of somebody who has not ruled Ghana, when your own man who ruled a good country through force of arms for almost 20 years has no single qualification...Yes. An ewe/anloga man or a nyebro ruled Ghana without any certificate: you do not care but after another person...Only nyebros will think so backwardly...Evil begets evil and so ewe generation follow their forebears in their hate filled agenda...We must support one another against these scumbags from Notsie, who came to the country two generations ago. Ewes and Anlos must use their education or so-called intelligence to help their poor people: Wherever you see an Ewe Village across the country, it's in the same backward state. Poverty, dereliction, disease, squalor, trokosi totems, primitiveness, filth and more filth in their hamlets fit for animals than human beings...and yet the focus of their scholars is on others. Change, Anlos/Ewes! Hatred has not done much for your development. Your ancestors did not flee, walking backwards, from Agorkoli to cause trouble in Ghana. WE SHALL RESIST THE EWE/ANLO HATRED

Let me first alert you that it is mainly Asantes and some Akyems who have problems with Ewes, not all Akans. So my use of Akan should not be generalised.
Science indicates that we have 3 layers forming the brain:the lower primitive reptile layer (which we share with snake,lizard...), middle mammal layer (same as what sheep, rat.... have)and a final primate layer (human brain, unique to humans). This layers can function independently. A person can think and act on the thought using any of these brain layers.
Unfortunately, most of you these Akan guys use snake and rat brain layers throughout your life.
Having come to this scientific understanding of human behaviour I realised you should not be blamed for thinking and talking so so stupid and primitively - because you are only showing characteristic of rats, but rather encourage to try and use the human brain.
Otherwise, how can you accuse people of looting national resources without mentioning Kutu Acheampong and recently Agyekum Kuffour and his family?
How can you write about tribal hatred when between 2000 - 2008 many Ewes lost their jobs just because they belong to a tribe?. Do you know that this tribal hatred thing was started by the Akans who rather senselessly felt they are superior to other tribes . Do know that it was one of the Awoonors who took the candidate of the NLC to court which paved the way for Nana's father to become Prime Minister, therefore questions must be asked, where did the intense hatred start?
If you are not using the sheep brain wouldn't you have noted that hatred is reciprocal in nature so you are equally guilty of hatred even if it were true that Ewes hate Akans?
If you are not thinking and talking like the lizard, how could you say the Ewes live in hamlets and squalor when many permanent Akan settlements across the nation are worse. For you information those Ewes living living in the hamlets for the sake of work have fantastic buildings at home.
If you are not thinking like the goat, how could you try to legitimise narcotic and other illegal trade by objecting to the confiscation of the properties of such people according to the laws of the land?
Rat, how can you accuse Ewes of being cheats when the certificate of many educated Asantes are either bought of forged?. Check the list of students who are sacked every year from the Universities for forgery.
There are many exercises you can do to connect and start using the human brain. Get in touch with me for help, oh thou rat who always blame other tribes for your own inherent flaws.

You still don't get it. If I go to court that you are not "YAW SAM" then I must be ready to prove my case and not you to prove otherwise. This is how the legal system works. You put somebody in the box that he is a thief then you must provide the evidence before the thief is asked to defend himself. Sometimes all the thief needs to do is to punch holes in your arguments and simply pray the court to dismiss your case

And you know what Akufo-Addo is trying to do? He is trying to do just that by filing a motion to strike out Justice Kpegah's suit. So the question is: What is stopping him from providing:
a. certified copies of his qualifying and enrolment certificates
b. transcripts from the Ghana School of Law AND
c. affidavits from his former lecturers and/or classmates.
These are going to bolster his case in bold terms.

What is wrong with those whose only argument is "show your certificate"? Being a lawyer and having a law degree are two different things. Though I agree that one needs to have a law degree before one could be allowed to write the Bar exams and even sign the Roll Book, I wish to draw readers' attention to the fact that not everybody who has a law degree can pass the Bar exams and be admitted to the Bar. One signs the Roll Book when he/she is being admitted to the Bar. Then after that you can practice as a lawyer.
Therefore if Nana Akufo-Addo can show evidence that he signed the Roll Book with the then Chairman of the General Legal Council, His Lordship the Chief Justice Samuel Azu Crabbe and the Judicial Secretary he will be done. The onus lies on Justice Kpegah to prove that the Chief Justice and the Judicial Secretary at the time colluded fraudulent together all those who were in charge of scrutinizing certificates before one was cleared to the point of being "inducted" or signing the roll book. If they are not able to do so then Kpegah does not have any case and in fact the state can even charges him for wasting public funds in a stupid legal case.
Why is this so difficult for many to understand this? Stop calling on Nana to show his certificates and instead, call on your man, Justice Kpegah, to provide evidence that the certificates Nana provided at the time were fake and the case will be settled. If you can’t do this then STOP THE NOISE and watch how this case unfolds in court.

Let those who want to govern us clean their own house before they impose their dirt on us. Dr. Bokor, please ignore those making empty noises using tribalism as an excuse to cover up Nana Akufo-Addo. We have now heard Middle Temple has already confirmed that they have records of WILLIAM ADDO DANKWAH AKUFO-ADDO and not NANA ADDO DANKWAH AKUFO-ADDO. In other words, as far as Middle Temple is concerned, these are 2(two) different individuals. Dr. Bokor, if this is the case, and Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo is indeed William Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo then, my question is : (A) Has Nana Akufo- Addo NOTIFY Middle Temple of CHANGE OF NAME in order for his records to be updated onto their systems and any such amendments to effected accordingly? (B) Can the Court issue a subpoena against Middle Temple through the British High Commission, Accra to tender in evidence any corresponce, notes, certificates, testmonials and the with regards to WADAA/NADAA? The truth of this case must be found so that We, Ghanaians don't wake up one and find people like the First World Super 419, Ackah Blay Miezah ruling us. Remember him?

The Republic of Ghana Parliament's Appointments Committee has demanded the Deputy Northern regional minister designate to produce his ordinary and advanced school levels certificates.
This was after Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini had admitted to the committee that the certificates were missing.
Though the nominee had stated on his CV that he completed his 'O' and 'A' levels education at the T.I Ahmadiyah senior high school in Kumasi, he could not indicate the certificates acquired.
After further probing, he told the committee the certificates were missing.
Alhaji Fuseini explained to the committee that he had left the certificates in the care of his relatives to travel, only to find upon return they had gone missing.
“...But I can tell this committee with all honesty and sincerity that I have earned those certificates but unfortunately, it’s just that I don’t have them ... now,” he told the Vetting Committee.
But a member of the committee, Baba Jamal - not satisfied with the answer – insisted that the nominee should find other means of retrieving the certificates.
“With your certificate, I know when it is missing, you can still go back to the institutions [where you schooled] and they [will] give you copies there.
“You can always do that. So it is important that you do that". (Credit myjoyonline).)
The above took place last week at the Parliament's Appointment Committee where the deputy minister disignate was advised to approach the awarding institution for a duplicate copy for submission. How different is this from Nana Akufo Addo's case? The GLC of Ghand and the Middle Temple should be able to provide duplicate copies of Nana's certificates rather than submitting letters, records, testimonials etc. Ghanains know one thing and that is the certificate period. Affidavit means he does NOT have the certificate therefore there is an element of truth in Justice Kpegah's claim. Let's wait ad see.
