Whether NPP wins the case or not, they should drop Akufo. He's a liability to the party. The next crop of NPP leadership will include people like Bawumia if he can show more political nerve and if the Akan faction will let him lead. Bawumia does not carry the baggage that Akufo has. Nobody will question the academic qualifications of Bawumia or accuse him of arrogance. It's important that Bawumia takes a leading role in the SC case in order to position himself for the post court era of the party. But the NPP lawyers must groom him well and prepare him properly for his next appearance. He did his best last week but he can do better.
Alan Cash is also coming home now that he has crushed out of the race for the WTO top job. He too will be a better symbol for the NPP than Akufo.
Akufo and Jake should take background roles in the party and let others be the front men. The two of them are spent forces.

In other words, he was admitting that there should have been no pink sheets duplications and therefore the mistakes were due to the dual methodology used. Dr Bawumia is wrong and in danger of accepting something that did not and has not happen/ed if he is right that there were no double counting. By the Venn Diagram representation, there must be duplicating, triplication and quadrupling of pink sheets from the same polling stations representing the statutory malpractices, irregularities and omissions being complained of and put in their respective statutory categories. This is not Econometrics (which Dr Bawumia is familiar with) but simple Venn Diagram Mathematics. Whether the some pink sheets were generated manually or computer or both is irrelevant, duplication must occur.
