What is culture? what is contribution, etc. This is our problem. We use words and help those we have put in responsible positions to avoid responsibility. Mahama was elected President, previously VP. He alone appoints Ministers and Deputy Ministers, He appoints people to senior positions and boards. Why should we not hold him responsible for failures? People everywhere would do the wrong thing if there are no effective institutions to check and make sure the wrong is punished and right is rewarded or encouraged. If somebody forges a document and 'sells' land to two or more people, is it not for the courts and the police to act quickly, arrest the bastard, prosecute and jail him or her? Is it our culture that will build roads, get proper revenue from mines, save our fishery from foreign poachers, protect the environment, build schools, establish proper curriculum, etc etc. Please stop this unhelpful generalisations. If you have specific ideas give it and stop letting 'our leaders' get away with LAZINESS and CORRUPTION.

However beyond the first paragraph lies : the lack of critical thinking and analytical application" of the words. I am sorry to say, although I was not part of the demonstration, civilized people demonstrate in civilized nations away from their birth nations. Secondly, comparing apples and oranges( former president Kuffour to Woyorme) by injecting tribalism is primitive. Not every Ghanaian has the luxury of a higher education in Ghana and if people like me have the opportunity the further their education abroad without either our parents stealing money that belong to ALL GHANAIAN to fend for our education because he or she is a POLITICIAN or a big honcho at a job is Godly acceptable. Learning abroad adds substance to a nation building, America thrive on ideas from other countries. I have come across many Ghanaian who had return home to share their gigantic acquired knowledge but has seen it all decipated to the thin air. Simple put due to jealousy, selfishness or political strive for self richness. Until we realized that we need part of our brightest who are outside the nation and foster a welcome environment for them, we will continue to struggle lets look how India and middle East and Korea blossomed.
