Ask most Ghanaian Lawyers. They will tell you without hesitation that Akufo -Addo is a lawyer. This is so because the know him as someone who has been performing the duties of a lawyer; moreover, also owns a law firm. President Mills did not say that He could vouch for the fact that Akufo Addo had a Law certificate without fraud. Not long ago , in The US Naval Hospital, in Bethesda MD a Ghanaian Anesthesiologist who worked there for many years was arrested. Everybody knew him as a Doctor. It turned out that he never attended medical school. He said he told the authorities that he was qualified. He did not say he obtained a degree in Medicine. This is the Hospital that treats the Presidents of the US. At the KNUST in the 70's about 23 students were sacked . Some were in the final year in the College of Engineering when it was discovered that they entered the University with forged grades. Mills did not say anything about the veracity of Nana obtaining a law certificate. If he is a duly qualified lawyer let him produce his certificate.

Justice kpegah has every right to question Nana Addo's qualification he he had information that casts doubt to that effect. If ordinary Ghanaians can be dragged to court for impersonation, why not Nana Addo.? It is laughable that supporters of Akkufo are throwing all these tantrums over a simple matter but are mum about a duly elected president of Ghana because he is a northerner. On Tsikata, when accusations of Nana being dismissed from Oxford emerged, he came out to say that he heard that Nana had left Oxford under strange circumstances but couldn't confirm why, thereby giving further oxygen to the rumours on the matter. No one asked Tsikata to say something. He did on his own volition. Yet, he has been very quiet on a matter that, unlike the rumours of Nana Addo being dismissed from Oxford, he should actually know something about because he worked under Nana as a junior counsel on some cases. he has kept quiet because saying what he knows would undermine NDC's propaganda. But Agya Atta was a completely different person. He was a man of integrity that found himself in the wrong camp.

Any Ghanaian of sound mind and right age has a right to contest and be properly elected to become President. At the same time, the Constitution prescribes appropriate legal redress when contestants suspect elections have been rigged. Nana Addo and his team have done what the constitution enjoins them to do. Are you saying that they should sweep cases of violations and electoral malpractices just because Mahama is a northerner? Why, are northerners not Ghanaians? We hope Ayariga is not going to hide behind the fact that the case is in court and that he does want to prejudice it by providing that information.

Do you think that anybody will have the moral and intellectual impudence to question Addo's lead lawyer Frank Davies that he is not a lawyer. I think Frank Davies' former classmates and/or lecturers will run to his rescue.
So in the case of Akuffo Addo, why are his former classmates and lecturers absent from the equation? Where are they? Or is this a case where he was granted a special dispensation?

How come that all of a sudden, we are being told Akuffo Addo's certificates are missing and that since 2007 he has not made any attempt to get duplicate copies.
Again, I don't understand why Addo's supporters keep insulting anybody who doesn't support what Addo is doing. All my life I have never come across a case like this where a prominent national figure is stubbornly refusing to answer such a simple question as to whether he was properly called to the bar to practise law. He just have to put out a statement to quench the fire of his enemies but not Akuffo Addo.
His supporters are not helping him. They are rather energizing his opponents.

Is that what you call an insult? Then what do you call making scandalous, unsubstantiated allegations against another? In fact, isn't it even insulting to ask a man like Nana Addo to post his certificates on Ghanaweb? Goodness! Which sane man would do that. This case is a very simple matter. A former Justice of the Supreme Court has sued a leading politician of impersonation, thereby calling the latter's professional qualifications into question. The latter is duty-bound to produce evidence in court to clear his name. The process has just started. The case hasn't even been heard. Can we all wait and see what further evidence Nana Addo brings in court as the case unfolds?
