Stop wasting your time, you dreamers. And can someone tell the author or the misguided article that Ghana is and will remain a peaceful country because it has peace-loving people as the overwhelming majority. But you have the freedom to dream negatively and be left behind. Our courts follow the law not your emotions.

'''The voice of the people is the voice of God", goes the saying. The Ghana Supreme Court is made up of judges who will have come across this saying many times in their long careers at the bar and now the Bench. Thy will also have heard by now that many people in the country are afraid that the task the Court faces now is so big that it might easily end in the country being torn apart.
Therefore total transparency is needed to defuse the tension in the country. Only live, unedited broadcasts by TV and sound, can give the people this total transparency. If the judges, from personal fear of the TV spotlight or whatever, continue to hold doggedly to their backward view that the case should not be televised, the blood of the nation will be on their hands. They shold know that Ghana is in a very very delicate state, where people are stealing state money by leaps and bonds, and where tribal interpretation is being pt on every single thing that happens. People will stupidly accuse the judges of tribalism and political bias. Even bribery cannot be ruled out.
The only way to deflate such accusations is to enable each citizen to see or hear the proceedings in court for himself or herself.
If their own lives depended on it, would the judges depend on the "rented" Ghana newspapers and radio stations to present a fair and accurate picture if what was going on? Chief Justice Georgina Wood must rise to the occasion, put her foot down, and get TV and radio to carry the proceedings immediately.

Why wouldn't he recount the famous O.J. Simpson's case. It just took a week for the whole America lost interest. Catch you

Honestly, this article is a load of nonsense . I don't care about your views and i don't care if its televised or not. It's not your decision to make. Let those who have been put in charge reach these conclusions. Having said that, you make some valid points but i need to ask are you a journalist??If not you're pardoned but if you are, go back to school. The English language is a simple artistic language which should be left as such, some of your choice of words are rather uncalled for. You write an article to be read, understood and then a stance made by the reader. This article leaves me rather angry i bothered. It's so packed. Bitty. No spacing. No choreography to it. Dude go the BBC website and read a brief or article. You'll have a better idea of journalism the way it should be. We can't want to do things of the West when we can't even write like the West, unfortunately you and all the journalists and media in Ghana have proved this. Politics is always going to be controversial, deal with it. NPP cheat and steal, NDC do the same and no doubt whoever else comes on will do likewise but i believe we are sane God fearing people and that will always be the core of our actions, good or bad for every bad there's a point of return.

I would excuse Mr.Edusei, if indeed he lives in U.S., but Ghanaian are not so enthused with the election suit so much as to waste time hanging around TV sets to wathch proceedings. Why do you think Gabby Othchere Darko and Ken Ofori Atta complained that Ghanaians are not angry? Few people like Justice Sarpong, Okoapa-Ahoofe and Roxkson Adofo feed you lot with such misinformation that you might think Ghana is on the brink! Ghanaians are going about our businesses peacefully.

Hi Eric, it is good you are cooling off in the VA USA whilst we labour to keep the nation running. You think every one is like you and can read and write so can follow the court proceedings. You are just selfish, and dangerously self opinionated, and a danger to society. Your back burner agenda would not wash . The international bodies have already read between the lines and your strategy to armbush the supreme court is well known. Kindly refresh your memory on what sir John did during the election. He announced the winner and assigned percentages and asked the NPP supporters to go ahead and jubilant, with the aim of causing mayhem. It did not work and people have reliable information that the NPP intends to pre-empt the SC verdict before it is given. You and your cohorts would fail and Ghana will be the final winner. Now tell me, the televise SC prodeeding will be to whose benefit, the poor farmer, the mokola woman or the truck pusher. It will only benefit people like you and yourlike.Bye

They must their lazy asses to work and, of court, the shoe shine boys will also do what they know best, and Ghanaians will live happily ever after.
