We, the people of Ghana, should not waste our time and money celebrating February 14th as Valentine's Day. It is not part of our heritage. Unless we use it to promote the sale of black chocolate and grown in Ghana flowers. Valentine's day is as foreign to us as the Chinese Year of the Snake or the Chinese year of the Rat. The Chinese 2013 year of the black snake began on February 10, we should begin to celebrate that as well, since they are fast become our new overload.
Let's celebrate our heritage, or else we will end up copying all the bad things our overlords bring to our shore.
