Mr. Author: This is a nice piece. But let me draw your attention to one thing you forgot. One of the reasons given by the NPP for their boycott was the fact that they did not want to engage in any business that would only last the term of President Mahama, hence the boycott of Ministerial vetting which would last for four years. Agreed! By the same argument, won't it be fair for the NPP MPs to 'boycott' their monthly salaries and other fat allowances since these will last for only the supposed term of office of President Mahama? You see, we shouldn't be pampering such behaviours from our politicians. The 1992 Constitution made it that not until the Supreme Court says otherwise anything done by the President is legitimate. We should call 'spade a spade' and tell these 'lazy moneybags' parading as politicians that the country Ghana is bigger that their parochial interests. Can they reverse all they are doing now should the Supreme Court rule in favour of President Mahama? It is nauseating when people's parochial partisan interests are justified as issues of principle. Mr. Author, I challenge you to come out with a piece on the issues I raised as a follow up to this article.

Of Course there are pressing issues needing attention which must be solved in a proper way best known to all of us however, boycotting elections and taking to the Highest court knowing well that such action will affect Governance and make it unfit for purpose is not just greed but the stupidest thing ever.
At the end of the 'Na who Cause Arm'? And 'Na whose Political Party is being affected'?
If the NPP's absence in the vetting process weakens the whole 'show', who benefits and who loses? As someone succinctly declared, 'GHANA IS BEING A ONE PARTY STATE'.
This declaration offers a lot to think about, the way we do politics, voting on tribal lines and our leaders having no trust whatsoever in their shoo-ins, to borrow your own vocabulary.
All in all, the Npp being the Largest opposition ought to reconsider her decision to avoid wasting time in court to join the mandated winner to surge ahead to build a better Ghana. Akuffo Addo can still re-pay his debts in opposition as Bro John is certain to give him '30% contract'.
