Ghanaians have spoken and that is all that really matters. The political elite of the United States will do well to pay much closer attention to the mounting Social problems plaguing the US as well as its rapidly declining influence abroad because of its compulsive desire to control and determine the fate and direction of other nations. America is a great nation but it has terrible systemic problems which ought to keep all their leaders very busy for the next few decades.
We would also respectfully advise Mr Biden to heed the sane voices of some prophets right there in America.

Hypocritical America is "spitting feathers" because our elected politicians have taken a Sovereign decision that resonates with the vast majority of the populace. If homosexuality is the new advancement of mankind, let them keep it in the West. Sadly, one can trust our neo-colonialist, Western Poodle President Akufo Addo, as far as one can throw him, but if he tries to fob us off, with any of his double-speak piffle, we will make sure his party is obliterated in the next elections. Some of us do not suffer fools gladly.

@Appiah, our values are precisely what our elected MPs have voted to protect. In plain English.... Buggery, is not something we value very much in Ghana.and we do not see it promotion as some kind of progress. Your imaginary scenario will never happen. We know that dementia affects old people. Scientifically proven, so we are not daft enough to accuse nonagenarians as witches. In fact, Akufo Addo, is delaying to sign a bill that will put an end to the arbitrary accusation of geriatrics as witches. We do have some values and we do not need to be bullied by the West to accept what appeals to them.
